i discovered this awesome movie at an early age, i had already been watching The Batman TV show which is really awesome too, this movie takes place during the first 2 seasons, but this movie does not feel like just a long episode, it feels like it has the potential to be a great live action batman film! since you picked this movie, i assume you already know that Dracula is in this film, and this isn't some super villain pretending to be Dracula, it is actually the prince of darkness,of vampire lore, Bela Lugosi/Leslie nelson/Gary oldman Dracula! He is accidentally awoken by penguin who starts bleeding over his corpse, yes the minute you see that first drop of blood and Dracula eyes open, you know right away that this isn't any ordinary child friendly cartoon. Despite being in Gotham, they actually provide a believable reason why Dracula corpse is in Gotham, and his motivations seem simple enough...try to turn all of Gotham's population and very soon the world into an UN-dead army. And if a deadly joy buzzer wielding, insane Jamaican version of the joker isn't scary enough, Dracula actually turns him into a vampire. This leads to one of the most horrifying scenes ever, and one of most blood curdingly batman lines ever. Batman: a banks being robbed Alfred: I'm sure the police can handle it this time, Batman: its a blood bank. The vampire joker( that is so cool but terrifying to say!)is seen at the blood bank binge eating all blood in sight, and its not showing him from behind, its showing him dunking tons of blood into his mouth! ( its awesome!)and when batman starts fighting him, they accidentally cause it to start raining blood!!! Batman captures vampire joker, and bring him back to his cave ( nothing bad can happen there) and starts trying to find a cure for vampirism, meanwhile more and more people are being turned into vampires. Amazing enough batman does find the cure, they do make it look scientific and believable, and if there's anyone who could make a cure for vampirism, no doubt about, it would be the dark knight. Batman then goes to confront Dracula and his army of the UN-dead, the following confrontation has got to be the most bad ass moment ever! Batman single handily takes on a horde of vampires, injecting them each with the antidote, and kicking some major butt all the way. Finally the final confrontation begins between the dark knight vs the dark prince, their fight goes all the way back to the bat cave, batman gets beaten up, probably with a ton of broken bones, and is chased around by Dracula, while he rants, and then it turns out hes been luring Dracula to a good old fashioned view of the sun, this and a great one liner from batman leads to a very fitting and baddass death scene for Dracula. The characters are well written as they are in the show, this Bruce Wayne is way more happy and fun loving, but you know its just a mask, because batman is the real persona, and this is awesome depiction of him. This has got to be the best Dracula I've ever seen, despite having the cliché Transylvanian accent and clothing, i very much prefer it, it lets me know this is the same iconic Dracula from the movies. this plot has good dialogue, great atmosphere, the minute the sun goes down, you no longer feel hopeful that batman is prowling the streets, you feel actual terror for the evil lurking in the dark, the dread builds throughout the movie, batman is clearly outmatched, out-muscled, and outnumbered, ( i started wishing him to go ask for superman and the justice leagues help!) and there are definitely some nightmare inducing moments, but through the movie you come to realize how truly heroic and awesome batman really is, and it does leave you with a good feeling by the end. overall this is a great movie to watch on Halloween no matter what age you are ( i recommend you at least be 13 or older), also its a great batman movie in general, one of the best! i think some people just cant get past the name, but i assure you once you start watching this, you will be trapped in its cowl and its fangs.

Non-fans despise this particular Batman show for being entirely in correct, but I like watching it....Its Batman...The prince of darkness has made his way to Gotham City and now the Batman must stop the legendary Vampire from turning the entire city into his minions. The film itself is corny writing but the show overall has a comic book type of look and the action sequences are done; the new Joker look is a little radical but it suits him.The introduction of Vicki Vale was brilliantly placed and reminded me of the Burton Batman. Overall the voice actors provide a satisfactory job, a good TV cartoon movie to watch when your bored...

this is a great movie.it has a very good story, good characters, and lots of action.it's also very creepy at times, and there an air of eeriness to the movie.you definitely can fell a sense of danger and jeopardy for both The Batman and the rest of Gotham city.the main villain and the other characters are well written.the movie is very engaging and compelling.as well, the voice acting is very well done.the voices and characters really fit together.this may be the best animated Batamn movie yet,and it ranks right up there with live action movies as well.if you're into Batman, you should enjoy this movie.i have to give "The Batman vs Dracula" a solid 9/10

When this show first came out, it was not as dark as The Animated Series, so many fans didn't watch it, but this film makes up for it. This movie is very dark and interesting, a true batman film. This movie alone may even get you watching the show on a regular basis. This is more adult and not meant for kids so if you liked the animated series, then be sure to pick this up. Batman Beyond Return of The Joker and Batman Mask of The Phantasm, match up with this one. Both of those films were great. It even has Joker and Penguin, and penguin becomes a servant! This is a must own for any batman fan, and even some not-batman fans.
