I'm a HUGE KatyCat, and Katy is one of my biggest role models, she's talented, kind and is a living proof that if you can be yourself, you can be anything. Katy tells us to live our life with fun, and no regrets, life is too short to be anything but happy!The movie is made of concert scenes, behind the scene and home footage, and more. It talks about Katy's life, and how she became what she is today, and follows her to her 2011 successful tour, California Dreams Tour. She talks about her childhood and past, and her family, team and other celebrities (Jessie J, Adele, Rihanna etc..) are also introduced as guests too.I guess it's suitable for her fans, and even some of her non-fans too. See the movie and I bet you won't be disappointed!

I was very surprised at this well laid out documentary displaying the music tour that Katy Perry has to go on and endure. It's not the best documentary in the world, but it's very inspiring by how smart it's presented. Very good editing on the director's and editor's part. Katy inspires people from all walks of life-mainly the outcasts really(or the stereotypes we see as the outcasts. Of course she inspires all people from all walks of life though). It gives you a smile to see the people in the crowd listening to her sing. She gives these people hope and inspiration in their daily lives as they get through the daily joy and struggle of their lives, as we all deal with that daily joy and struggle. But Katy helps many people get through their daily lives a little bit easier-to perhaps give them hope from on a daily basis through her thought provoking lyrics and style, and her beautiful music that she sings. That's all any artist can ever ask for, to make people feel good about themselves and help them get through there daily lives with a little more grace and happiness. Katy doesn't want to go out and perform on a few occasions, or even do her meet and greets on a few occasions. But she's so thoughtful and professional. She understands the fact that these people have been waiting to see her, no matter if this is her 300th performance and she's tired as heck. These people in some way need her because she inspires them and they want and need to see her, and they've paid good money to see her and to maybe even meet her. So, as the professional Katy is, the show must go on, and she does the show through her disheartening circumstances, and she does it with a 100% good attitude, even if she's only feeling 10%. People appreciate a person and artist like Katy. She's one in a million and she's there for her fans because she knows she wouldn't be there if it wasn't for them and she appreciates them, but Katy also realizes and appreciates the fact that she helps them, gives them hope in their lives. And that's something very special to give to someone, to give to millions in fact. One has to embrace that blessed gift. To do something one loves, and give so much of that love and inspiration back, that's what we all want really. Katy is truly blessed.

Between background stories and backstage antics, Perry performs hits from her repertoire festooned in garish candy-inspired costumes.While fans of the soloist will enjoy seeing her outlandish stage show, detractors of the overtly sexual singer will simply see it as a marketing ploy by record executives to bolster album sales.Unfortunately, this retrospective does not reveal which part of Katy Perry drove Russell Brand to divorce her. IF you're a fan of US singer Katy Perry, you'll love thisautobiographical concert movie of her songs and life.If you don't know anything about her, you'll still enjoy the movie as it follows the structure of these kind of movies: it has many concert performances and interviews with her family, friends and fans about what a great singer and person she is.The movie follows her on a year-long tour last year to promote her album, which produced five No. 1 hits, the first for a female artiste.The movie would have been a normal one but for the way it milks her divorce from British comedian Russell Brand for all it's worth. Brand filed for divorce in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage.It shows what led to the divorce (him wanting to have a baby; she not being interested in becoming a mum now) and then her finally accepting the divorce, complete with a breakdown, just before the start of her concert in Sao Paolo, Brazil. She even contemplates cancelling the concert.This will certainly brings tears to many, as it did to me.I enjoyed her concert shows as they were vibrant, energetic and colourful.
