Well, he'd be scratching at the lid of his coffin. But otherwise, he could have put together this film--it has a slightly faster pace than his films, but otherwise...simply amazing. I always click the "spoilers" button as I don't want to get blacklisted if I let something slip, but I try not to. The story is simple enough: criminal couple from the wrong side of the tracks wind up taking a wealthy hostage--then things happen. The three leads are extremely believable in their roles. The camera work and lighting/shadows deserve an award in and of themselves. The ending--a bit unexpected, but if you watch the movie through, there is really no other way to tie this movie together. Add to this that one of the leads was Teresa Palmer. As they said on The Big Bang Theory, everything is better with Bluetooth, the same is true for Teresa Palmer. Everything is better with Teresa Palmer. Except Warm Bodies. I love zombie films, good and bad, but even she couldn't save that train wreck.

I really enjoyed this film. The acting was top-notch, although I agree with the other posters that Travis Fimmel who plays bad boy Ron was definitely channeling Brad Pitt, especially in the opening scene. Stephen Moyer, who now appears on the HBO series True Blood, was very convincing as an agoraphobic with a past.Teresa Palmer was an excellent choice for her character; she somehow oozed overt sexuality and innocence at the same time. The sexual chemistry between her and the other two main characters, Rob and Andrew, was heavy enough to permeate through the screen. The plot was excellent and the ending leaves you just a wee bit unsatisfied, which I like. Leave them wanting for more. And they did just that but not so you would be angry about it. It just left a bit to the imagination and I loved it. I would definitely recommend this film to a friend (and plan to!).

Ron and Dale are lovers/fugitives on the run who decide to take reclusive shut-in Andrew hostage when their plan to make a run for the border goes south. Quick thinking, but jealous Ron comes up with a new plan to get some of Andrews money. But fate has other things in store for the unlikely threesome. I found this to be a pretty atmospheric little thriller. A bit claustrophobic, but in a good way. It's also very well acted by the three leads and aside from a few pitfalls and an ending that's easily enough to deduce, I enjoyed the film Eye Candy: Teresa Palmer provides the T&A quotient My Grade: B Lionsgate DVD Extras: An 8 minute, 15 second making-of featurette; an alternate ending; interviews with David Denneen, Anna Fawcett, Travis Fimmel, Teresa Palmer & Stephen Moyer; trailer for this film; and trailers for Bangkok Dangerous, the Spirit, Kitchen Privilages, Dracula's Guest, & Raising Jeffrey Dahmer

Whileit was interesting, it was not tense or terrifying.Drama was a little on the slow side and mystery was not present. So what made this a good movie? I don't exactly know.I just know that it kept my attention and after watching 25 movies in 3 days that doing such a feat is hard.I guess it was steady pacing.Well that, a naked woman and a semi unique twist at the end...but I figured it out way before, still I enjoyed it.A few plot flaws, but I'm too tired to type them out now. It's a Saturday afternoon movie and it's not a waste of tie.
