First off the film itself is dull and awful. Terrible acting and a terrible script. But the worse part (and I know this from friends who have had interaction with the real characters) is that they are making Karla a victim when she was the mastermind of most of these sick acts - she was not a victim and the fact that she is portrayed as one is an insult to the true victims and it shows how a sick, immoral Hollywood would praise a killer - why not they want Roman Polanski back after he raped little girls.

The only reason I rated this movie got the points from me it did is because both Laura and Misha are fantastic actors.I clicked the movie title not knowing much about the actual story except that they were known as Ken and Barbie. I clicked the movie because it had Misha Collins (I hadn't heard his warning about not watching the movie) and I thought that the piece based on who was being cast would have a different feel to it. The whole movie is extremely uncomfortable and it's even worse when you hear some accounts of how much of a creep the director was. The rape scenes were cringy enough as is without a crude director. The thing is the movie is done really well it's just doing a really terrible thing.

This is truly a terrifying film made even more disturbing by the fact that it is true. It is worse than any horror or fiction can be. I only give it 10/10 stars because it's made so well and so accurate. Karla Homolka, is not only just as guilty and bad as Paul Bernardo, but is more psychopathic due to her lack of conscience, remorse, taking responsibility, etc. She should still be in prison. She scammed the crown. I'm surprised her family did not disown her. I would have. How could you not?She is even allowed to have her own kids. WTF? I'm sorry but anyone who did what she did should not be allowed within a 1,000 feet of anyone under 18. I hope it follows and haunts her for the rest of her life.

The film portrays Karla in not as even of a light as she should of been. They made Paul look extremely bad which he was so that is all fine by me. But Karla they made to look like a psychotic victim. Lets get one thing clear, she shows little remorse for the victims she just might of killed, and agreed to kill (so either way shes psychotic) and she is a sociopath with no empathy. She has s huge IQ and she is just an awful person. So to the see the film make her out to be a confused, helpless victim was just as sick as what these two did to these three or four, or more poor girls if you count Pauls rapes in Scarbourough.Anyway the movie is disturbing as expected but it does a good job at looking at a real-life story and something that can happen. It is all so amazing and shocking this happened in Canada, my country that is supposed to be safe. But this is an evil, evil world.I feel sorry for the family and friends of the victims and do not encourage them to ever watch this but I think it is important the world can see this story so they know the evil these two committed and sure it is a big injustice she is now free after her deal with the devil twelve year plea bargain. But it is important Paul spends the rest of his life in prison as a dangerous offender. Karla is a sociopath, Paul is a sick, evil, psychotic scumbag that should never see the light of day again. If your into true, killer movies, then it is not bad at all. Just be prepared for some altered facts and disturbing scenes.7 out of 10.
