This movie has dialog. Good dialog is a good thing for a movie to have. People talking to each other is considered dialog. Dialog explains complex ideas and plots to the viewer of this movie. Yes, it is important to have dialog in a movie. The characters of this movie are also good. Animala is a good character. Although her personality could be evil. Her character is derived from the underground, anti-conformist youth gathering... oops I am talking way too fast. I better slow down. She is an example of the "beat generation" known as the beatnik. There I go again, getting way to complicated. Characters like Lattis and Kro-Bar, should not be mistaken for real aliens as they are only characters. The movie has a good moral. A moral is a lesson to be learned from the telling of a story. The moral is a good moral to learn from this movie. This movie's moral is; When two or three evils fight to own a meteor, sharing is a good Earth idea. But it is better to share, and not do some other kind of sharing only with yourself. I sleep now!

Return to the black and white, sci-fi monster, "B" movies of the 1950's and 1960's in a way that will keep you laughing at the things that gave you the willies when you were a kid. Remember "Robot Monster", "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers", "First Man Into Space", "Zombies of Mora Tau", "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Terror from the Year 5000", "Teenagers from Space", "Donovan's Brain", "Night of the Living Dead", etc.? A little bit of all of them are in this movie. Perhaps not directly, but their influence is there just the same. This is an extremely creative and wonderfully funny movie. Amazingly, it was written in only five days, and was filmed in just ten and a half days, on a budget of less than $100,000. (According to the star and director.) The cast were all friends and included some, who had no serious prior acting experience. I would not call this a hammed-up, campy, spoof. The movie stays very true to the style of the sci-fi monster, "B" movies of the past that it mimics, and does so in a way that also brings out the humor that was always there.

This movie was a great surprise. I am a fan of old B-movies, and this film replicated them perfectly. The characters, the story, the setting, and the humor are all so clever and witty. From the titles of this film, I was laughing my head off. There are so many quotable lines it's impossible to count them all! The Lost Skeleton is so sarcastic, Betty is so stupid.... Larry Blamire did a brilliant job on the script and on the skeleton's voice. The camera, the lighting, the sets, the audio, and even the trailer are all perfectly done to look and feel like a sci-fi movie of the 50's. If only the "(fill in the blank) Movies" and other comedies were this funny and simple. This film was perfect in all ways and really made me laugh. I recommend it to anyone who loves an intelligent comedy; fans of the "fill in the blank Movies" are advised to stay away -- this is not a film for you.

The humor in this movie is so good it captures the essence of the B movies I watched as a kid on Saturday watching the "Creature Double Feature".Those old sci-fi movies were funny while attempting to be scary. And that feeling is captured in this modern day tongue and cheek sci-fi masterpiece. The actors in the movie completely understand writer/directer Larry Blamire's sense of humor and the genre he was going after. His style reminds me of the great Mel Brooks and his satirical spin on what can be called some of the greatest movies. If you like Robin Hood And The Men In Tights, Blazing Saddles, Monty Python, Kung Pow or other comedies of that style you will love "The Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra.Larry Blamire has a great sense of humor look for anything written or directed by him.
