Seriously?!?!? The people who are leaving baaad reviews of this film obviously have no idea what it's like being cyber bullied!!! It's not as simple as deleting a message/comment... once you see it, it's then stuck in your head and the more you read the more you believe... and aswell as high school goes... yes it can be like this... high school is the lowest of lows for some people... you know the sayings "that girl you called a slut because she was pregnant... well she was raped Etc etc... so yes you all may think this film as bad or crap or unrealistic... but through the persons eyes who is suffering it's exactly like this and worse... this film isn't just about showing the effects that cyber bullying or bullying at all can have on a person it's also showing how fucked up this society has become and how it also feels and looks through someone's eyes... so please take this Film seriously... could save a life!!!!!!!!!

This made for television American film is clearly a propaganda document, though it remains to be seen on whose behalf. Certainly the usual suspects - the pro-censorship lobby - will be pleased with it. So how does it stack up? Truly awful, like pass the sick bucket. Do blondes really get bullied in the real world, especially when they are as lovely as Emily Osment? Leaving that aside, if you grew up in the 1960s you might have heard the rhyme: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt me" - or something like that. Words can and do hurt of course. If someone close to you says something unkind, it may hurt a great deal, especially if it's true, but anonymous morons on-line? Be serious. Rather than taking an overdose, take some good advice: use a 20 digit password with a few symbols so your account doesn't get hacked, and don't feed the trolls. As for anti-cyberbullying legislation, let it go, dude; your ancestors died for the right of these clowns to offend you. One point for the soundtrack.

A young teenage girl is cyberbullied by her "friend" through a social website called Cliquesters. The movie, "Cyberbully" was produced by Jesse Prupas on July 17, 2011. Taylor Hillridge gets a laptop for her seventeenth birthday by her mom. She then goes on the social media all the kids have called "Cliquesters". She is later asked out to a dance by her friend Samantha's ex. Samantha does not like this, so she now shows a hatred towards Taylor. Taylor then is catfished by someone in the school and she gets embarrassed, and is now a victim of cyberbullying. Taylor later on becomes depressed and doesn't want to go to school anymore. When Taylor was in the cafeteria all the kids were looking at her, and the camera movements were going fast, pointing at her and other people. It showed the intensity of the scene. Also throughout the movie when Taylor is wanting to overdose, the music is sad and very emotional. The effect of what cyberbullying causes to people. For example, Taylor wants to overdose because of all the bullying shes been going through and the depression shes been having. It was achieved throughout the movie.Overall, this movie was very good, but it had some downfalls, such as the antagonists had no clear motive.

In this movie I think the term "cyberbully" is executed very well in this movie. In some points it goes to a certain extent that makes you wonder what's really going on behind a computer screen. I think the fact that Taylor went straight to the method she did to take her pain away was personally painful to see. I think the way she did it wasn't a good gateway to get out of it, while no escape would've realistically been better. It puts long term affects into perspective and it shows teens that it's okay to get the needed help when they want or feel it will help their mentality. In this movie I feel that suicide and bullying online was depicted nicely.
