Fan (2016)

Fan is probably one of my favorite films I've seen in a very long time. It not only provides an interesting story but also many strong dramatic and thought provoking elements. The plot is about a fan (Shah Rukh)who looks up to a movie star (Shah Rukh too) as most of us do. His goal was to meet him in person because of his immense respect for him. Sadly though Aryan the movie star doesn't want anything to do with him and creates his biggest enemy from his most beloved fan.The movie really has no good or bad guy which adds a lot to the story, everyone has a good enough motive at first. Eventually though they both take it to the extremes to try to stop each other. I haven't seen many Bollywood films but this is by far my favorite, good acting all around! It all leads to an amazing climax that may leave you thinking about what you just saw.I would completely recommend this movie for the humor, visuals, and plot alone but Shah Khan's performance as both the fan and the star pushes it to amazing levels. go see it now!

Once upon a time, i was also a fan of Srk. I saw Srk the actor in non mainstream movies like Chak de India, Billu barber and then mainstream movies like Don, om shanti om and RNBJ was awesome. But movies like Chennai express , Ra one , Don 2 i only saw SRK the bollywood superstar and not Srk the actor But rejoice Srk the actor is back in this movie. Pros Not even one song in this movie. It is unbelievable that director and Srk had such audacity for such blasphemy. Srk portrayal of Gaurav. Even though he is insane we feel so much for him.His wailing in jail was heart wrenching to see.The way Srk portrays a fan whose love turns into hatred is phenomenal.Cons The action scene,it felt something straight out of jason bourne movie.

so fan is one of the most anticipated movie of shah rukh khan of 2016.After dilwale,HNY and CE, SRK stepped out of his comfort zone and carved out his best-FAN.FAN is an irrational thriller ,diffrent from other typical Bollywood masala,having no lead actress,no songs no marketing because of which it fails to make an impact on box office despite having SRK on cards.Action,drama,emotion and fandom-this is your 150 minute of experience.Fan is an emotional roller-coaster which ends up with tears in eyes for Fan.Watch it if you like Hollywood type no song ,intense story great acting,srk deserves a filmfare for this.Film has some flaws but can be ignored as Srk overshadows all flaws with his acting skills,the vfx team did excellent job and the make-up man-Greg canom did excellent with his creativity of gaurav's physique and face

Shahrukh khan plays two characters in the movie (fan and star) .Performance of Shahrukh khan is brilliant.Some people didn't like the movie but they don't think about the story line and the emotions of the fan. The people didn't feel the movie.They only considered it as a simple and a boring drama movie.It also contains a tragic end that's why it is also not liked.The real fans of Shahrukh khan would love it.The only mistake was there was no fan anthem in the movie. At last THE MOVIE IS OUTSTANDING.
