After having a lot of sex they decided to take permission to marry...creepy!! Why they need to take permission for marriage then? If they are so obedient shouldn't they think about it before having sex?

What I mean when I say the above is that Arjun's extent of acting involves curling the ends of his mouth up when he is supposed to look happy, and keeping them in place otherwise. I seriously would have liked to punch him to get some other emotion out of him. Oh well, I guess family connections are all you need to get cast in a movie.Alright, that's just about one actor's performance. The reason I gave a 4 rating is because Amrita Singh and Revathy have turned in decent performances. They both bring out the reservations that mothers have when their child is in a relationship with someone else. Of course, both sides are seen to hold some prejudices about the other, which is not completely fictional either. These prejudices were discussed in the book as well, but the movie brings these to a wider audience. We definitely need to discuss and get over this unfounded sense of superiority over someone from another state (both sets of parents are guilty of this).Another thing I would like to say is that although Alia Bhatt shines in her role due to acting beside Arjun Kapoor, the role could have been given to someone who was actually from south India.Overall, the book was decent, but the movie was mostly ruined by the poor casting choices for the lead roles. The cyborg-like performance of Arjun Kapoor was especially intolerable. I guess family connections really do help to inflict suffering on a huge audience.

It is so true until the couple is separate.. (I mean until they blaming each other) but after that writer just want to satisfy the spectator..naturally there are lot of couples have to suffer due to things not going in there favor, and mostly after that things go out of their control.. and be unhappy as well as helpless and hole life is suffer by memorizing their wonderful memories..It is very rare that, things go correct just like in the move.. it just for happy ending..and i really love the story.my one is more simile to this until the couple is separated. and i am hoping my one will end like this.. some western person might feels we are lucky to to bond this much in culture but it should be there but need not to extremes..(last lines just for minimum 10 lines) thanks..
