Redline (2007)

What a terrible movie! The only things worth seeing in this flick are the cars and Nadia Bjorlin. Otherwise don't waste your time watching this drivel! Also the name of the German car, Porsche is NOT pronounced "Porsh" as it is in the movie. It is PROPERLY pronounced as "Por' Shuh." Two syllables with the accent on "Por." The letter "e" at the end of Porsche is pronounced as a short "a" exactly the same as the "a" at the end of Toyota. Anyone who knows anything at all about cars knows this! Anyone who does NOT know this evidently drives a "Toyot" or a "Ferrar" or a "Chevrol." Porsche does not advertise very often, mostly during auto races, but when they do it is ALWAYS pronounced as "Por'Shuh." MY GOD, get it RIGHT! If you don't believe me, look it up for yourself, it's right here on the internet!

Movies rarely get worse than this.Zero plot. Zero acting talent. Zero entertainment. Zero genuinely exciting action / racing. Too many driving scene's so obviously done on trailers. So tired, of seeing film-makers believe that they can stick a pretty face into a film, with ludicrously unrealistic talent, and get away with it. I was so close to turning this crap off at 22 mins when the plane lands. Ludicrous from Infamous. Why are production values & talent so very low? Channel 4 films could have made 10x quality films that genuinely entertained on this wasted budget. This movie, which really should appeal to petrolheads, totally sucked the life out of car-based movies. Even the nice cars on show couldn't salvage it.I hope whichever mugs stumped up the $26m for this dire dog-poo effort went bankrupt, so that they can't dish out tat like this ever again.

Close to the worst movie I have ever seen, and the worst racing movie I have ever seen.The plot was stupid. The acting was stupid. The dialog was stupid.Only the cars were cool, and they could not make up for the movie.You know how some movies are so bad they're good? This is not one of those movies, at least for me. I was too busy feeling sorry for myself for paying money for the DVD. OK, so it was a bargain bin DVD. For all I know it was $5. It was $5 too much.The only good thing about the movie was it was so bad, it makes me feel better about my life just complaining on IMDb about how bad it is.I am quite optimistic about movies and can sometimes find SOME reason to watch any particular one. Not this one. Don't waste your time. There are enough car movies that you can skip this one. Watch one of the four Fast and Furious movies. While some are not great, they are ALL better than this, no contest.

Redline is not the worst movie you will ever see, in fact believe it or not, there are worse movies out there and I can name a few.1. HUNTING SEASON, a low budget movie that displays a level of stupidity Redline doesn't come close to, and with acting that is beyond the worst you'll ever see.2. THE CAVERN, a horror film that has a director who thinks shaking the camera makes the movie scary each time the monster jumps out, but it only gives you a headache and you can't see what goes on half the time because more than half of the scenes are too dark.3. FIVE ACROSS THE EYES, another low budget movie that shows pure stupidity, it features a group women returning home from a football game and soon find themselves being chased by a shotgun carrying maniac, and during these chase scenes the only thing these girls know what to do is scream, argue, slap each other in the face, and puke coffee, and to top it off the shotgun freak you can easily tell is a woman, but is referred to as a guy.If I consider these titles I just pointed out, Redline I can guarantee is not the worst movie on the planet, granted it has its flaws, but so do a lot of other films, including some of the big names, and I'll bet you will find possibly one or two films, with similar flaws as this one and they'll have better ratings, and one thing I would like to point out, this film does not have as many plot holes as I thought, but you do need to pay attention though, and the acting wasn't that bad either, the better performances are given by Nathan Phillips who shows more emotions in his scenes, and Nadia Bjorlin who is possibly the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and reminds me of a girl I haven't seen in years and miss very much, and does play role really well.So, love it or hate it, like I said its not the worst.5 out of 10
