There's no plot to "Wrong Cops." It... just sort of unfolds, like a flower blooming, then withering, then rotting. The official synopsis claims that "Wrong Cops" is set in a future where crime has been eradicated —but you'd never know this was "SF" by watching this film cold. "Wrong" looks like it was shot during a sunny day in New Jersey or someplace. Due to this lack of structure, "Wrong" has a anemic, listless, aimless feel, which makes viewing tedious at times. Overall, however, the lack of structure (or maybe the structure I'm not picking up on) adds to the absurdity of the comedy, making it truly funny in places. Additionally, an otherworldly soundtrack of messy, electronic beats strings the movie together, giving it its own identity. I love the music. It makes this movie feel like it's set in another dimension. One character comments on it, suggesting that they may be in Hell: "We have invisible flames around us. You can't see them, but we all have invisible flames around us." Marilyn Manson has a small role as a maligned high school kid and he's very funny. I've always respected him after watching his insightful interview on "Bowling for Columbine," and he seems like a cool guy, someone who doesn't take himself too seriously. That's the attitude of this film, too. You just laugh at the oddness of it all, and don't get annoyed or angry when the plot doesn't make sense. I've seen other user reviews refer to this as a movie for weed-smokers. I don't smoke pot, but I can see this as perfect pothead theatre. Parts of the movie that drag tend to be scenes with Eric Wareheim and Arden Myrin. I don't know them from other work—both are comedians, apparently—but the scenes with them (especially Wareheim) kind of suck. Wareheim getting sprayed with pepper spray was slooooow and his comedy mannerisms seem to be him just over enunciating "n" and "t" sounds, like he's doing a cruel impression of a severely autistic adolescent. Props to Mark Burnham, however. He's got real charisma as the bullheaded lead, and the guy playing "Sunshine" looks a lot like Edward Norton. That's funny to me, somehow.Recommended.

There are always periods of times where this specific title could be seen in a different light (violence from cops and other events). But don't even go there. Actually don't even try to see this as an ordinary film. If you know the director, you obviously don't need this warning, but as I can see from some reviews, some people just went in like that (which is OK in itself), but started ranting stuff that make no sense concerning the movie.Let's get this straight: If you haven't seen Rubber or Wrong, you may be in for a surprise. And that might be unpleasant for you. But don't insult the filmmakers and/or compare this to a Tarantino wannabe. That's just plain ... wrong! No pun intended. Back to this "movie", which is a collection of events happening to certain characters. It's almost like a compilation of sketches. It actually seems to have more of coherent story than Rubber for example. You'll either like the very disturbing sense of humor or you won't. You'll know very early on

Decided to watch this due to Manson's role as I enjoy him as a musician, actor in Sons of Anarchy and general human being, and was sorely disappointed. Acting from all actors was shoddy, script was lazy, not a single character was well-developed or likable and I would literally rather watch Twilight than this garbage again. If the filming style was supposed to feel 'indie', the low-budget feel was certainly there. What's up with the weird depth of field and focal points? Looks like the producers couldn't get the camera to focus on occasion. The female character is unrealistic and a terrible representation of police, and women in general, her character was just irritating and senseless. Despite Manson's 'cute' little character, it was literally the worst film I've endured this year

I'm sorry, but I honesty think this was the worse movie I have ever sat through. Nothing in this movie makes ANY sense. Wtf happened to the dying guy? Its like the whole movie hes in, but forgotten about in the end. And the bag of money CLEARLY is more than 13,000. The money is by no means a big deal, just saying.I wanted to turn the movie off, but I just had to know what the he'll happens that it got such good reviews. I'm still waiting, but there is no movie left. I've seen worse acting and camera wasn't bad, except for some transitions, but the movie is like an idea you have and you try to put it all together but cant. Idk. It wasn't for me but I'm glad other enjoyed it.
