Only watch this if you're looking to laugh at the movie. It's supposed to be a horror comedy. The horror is garbage. The comedy is garbage. There were a few decent kill scenes. And a few decent comedy scenes. One in particular was when the two guys were on the plane trying to land it. There's not much here to enjoy. Better luck next time.2 stars for trying. And for not being an absolute pile of garbage.

I knew this not going be any where near as good or as funny as Shaun of the dead funny but I did expected to be be funny then Dance of the Dead, i Found that even funner. This was another that been on my watch list for long time, I have tired watch before, As this very low budget movie, I get putting off. A contagious virus is turning everyone into zombies, and the only hope for survival lies in the hands of three couch potatoes. The movie starts just like 28 days later, when Man in mid 20's is walking around empty street and News flash of it at the start of what going on. As Its went to meant to Horror comedy but I didn't find any of infected that scary at all, some were very stranger then others, some dodgy make up effect and it wasn't really that gory at all. Felt same scenes were getting repeated over and over again and those scenes end up dragging at well, I do mean killing infected scenes. well. I don't think I laughed more then once, The thing that I laugh was not really that funny but I didn't find any of other things funny at all.The acting was really tame time from most of the cast, at the ending what was with shouting, that way, way over the top. Ending was predictable and kind boring for zombie to end that way! 3 out of 10 Hoping 3rd the movie of the day is not a bad one

This is one of those rare zombie films that actually manages to bring a bit of humor into a setting that isn't really tailored for it. Now, that is not to say that this is a movie that will have everyone rolling in the aisles. It won't because it isn't that kind of a movie. But it does have some amusing scenes here and there. Essentially, three pitiful guys "Morgan" (Morgan Williams), "Johnny" (Robert Faith) and "Ash" (Ashleigh Southam) are holed up in a house after a zombie outbreak has decimated their town in New Zealand. One day they accidentally run into a woman named "Stef" (Emily Padden-Brown) and each of them immediately try to impress her. Unfortunately for them, she is more interested in getting a sample of blood taken from a zombie to a group of scientists who are working on a cure. Naturally, they all decide to help her but not necessarily with the interests of the entire world as their reason. Anyway, this movie doesn't follow any normal path and there are a few unexpected twists and turns that crop up throughout the movie. Again, there is some comedy here but there is also a plot which requires a certain dark perspective as well. And adding comedy into a zombie nightmare is a more difficult task to accomplish than many people fully realize. The fact that this one succeeds on such a low budget is what makes this film so rare.

We got this film as part of a collection of low-budget horror, "Masters of Terror," and were all set to laugh at the badness. Last of the Living was a great surprise. The plot is well constructed, and the four leads are charming and engaging. I'm not quite sure how to explain this, but the main plot - zombie apocalypse, a desperate ploy to get to a centrifuge(?) is nothing we haven't seen before. It's the little things that make a difference: the characters' back stories, the detail about why there are no bullets left, the way the characters interact with each other, and the fact that the main crisis is conflict between friends, not the zombie apocalypse - all these factors make this worth a viewing. For those who like combat there are some decent fight set pieces. Plus the soundtrack is the sex bob-omb. For what it is, Last of the Living is good fun.
