Tammy (Denise Richards) is a young college student still living with her folks. She has the ex-boyfriend from hell, truly. He beats up all of her new love interests and tries to control her life. Although she has her eye on Michael, she plays it cool to protect him. But, hormones are hormones. She asks him to come over to her house one night and he does. Trouble is, her ex shows up, too. Michael gets the beating of a lifetime and ends up in a coma. Meanwhile, an unethical scientist needs a brain for his animatronic dinosaur. Michael's brain will do and he steals Michael from the hospital. So, that's how we arrive at a T-Rex called Michael. He is out for revenge and he is lethal. Can you spell trouble? This is an absolutely terrible movie. It has cult aspirations but they fall far short of true entertainment. Richards tries very hard and looks beautiful through one preposterous scene after another. The rest of the cast is pretty forgettable. Even the special effects are not that great. Okay. Someone out there will probably love this movie for its foibles, like an Ed Wood disaster. If you are that type, go find yourself a copy of this one. But, for everyone else, stay far, far away. You will end up blowing a couple of hours of your life, time you will never get back.

I bought this film merely because of Denise Richards, who I think is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. I was deceived by the title and the picture, both of which made me think it was a movie for children. Boy, was I wrong. This is a Trash movie, what made me glad that I bought it. Now I can place it among the other titles of my B-Movies collection. Is this a bad movie? Of course it is. Surprisingly as it may be for most people, it was made that way ON PURPOSE. And, what may sound even more surprising is that some people (such as myself) really do appreciate this genre of film. Trash, B-movie, whatever you call it, are based in 4 concepts: Hot chick (Denise Richards couldn't be more appropriate), bad acting, cheesy special effects and a ridiculous script. This movie succeeds in all of them. Thus, considering the logic of those who are into Trash movies, this one deserves an 8 or 9 out of 10. For the rest of you, who just can't get what is to enjoy in a truly bad movie, I guess it would be 1 out of 10, considering a conventional rating system.

I thought the movie *was* pretty bad, but it was so bad it was funny. Personally, I prefer that to the "funny but really offensive" I see a lot on TV/movies, so that kind of redeemed the movie a bit, in my eyes. (I also found it really funny that they were advertising this movie on a bootleg VCD and calling it "Jurassic Park III") :)

This movie is horrible. Knowing that this movie was made in 1994 terrifies me. The dinosaur is pathetic, and the acting is terrible. What tops the movie off is when Denise Richards' boyfriend's brain is hooked up to a camera so he can see her strip for him and the electrical circuits all short out. Who in the world came up with that? I started cracking up the minute I saw this part. The only reason I watched the movie was because it was soooo bad.
