Lust Stories (2018)

'Lust Stories' is the sequel to 2013's uneven Bombay Talkies, presenting four short films by four of India's biggest directors exploring love, sex and relationships in modern India. So its Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar, calling out the shots!The First Story centers around Kalindi (Radhika Apte), a fickle minded college professor, who after engaging in sexual intercourse with a student of hers named Tejas (Akash Thosar), introspects her life. Kashyap Directs this appealing & bizarre tale of a woman gone cuckoo with energy & outwardly humor. Apte is simply extraordinary, while Akash Thosar shows signs for a gift in comedy. The Second Story centers around Sudhaa (Bhumi Pednekar) and Ajit (Neil Bhoopalam), who are secretly in a passionate sexual relationship. It is revealed later that Sudha is his maid, who, despite giving him love & lust, can never be seen as Ajit's wife due to her stature. Zoya is in stupendous form & easily delivers the most affecting story out of the 4. Padnekar is richly controlled, while Bhoopalam gets little to do. The Third Story centers around Reena (Manisha Koirala), a housewife, who is indulging in an extra-marital affair with her husband's best friend Sudhir (Jaideep Ahlawat). Things get tense when the husband (Sanjay Kapoor) arrives to the scene. Banerjee's tale is average & a tad too verbose. Koirala is a delight to watch, while Sanjay Kapoor steals the story. Jaideep Ahlawat, who was so good in Raazi recently, appears miscast here.The Fourth & Final Story centers around Megha (Kiara Advani) is a young school teacher who gets engaged to be married to Paras (Vicky Kaushal), an office worker. After their marriage, Megha discovers that while Paras is continuously pleasured during sex, he is not aware of her dissatisfaction. But Megha's urge take a new form when she gets some help from her colleague Rekha (Neha Dhupia). Johar has fun with story & even takes a jab at himself in the story's most hilarious sequence. Advani is pure perfection, while Kaushal & Dhupia are fabulous.On the whole, 'Lust Stories' is a mix of good and ordinary! Not a bad way to spend your lazy Sunday afternoon.

This world is made for women, this world is made to glorify the women, this world is made to care the Lust of women. This movie tried so hard to show women is the victim of LUST but revealed their own LUST. Story 1. The teacher is a slave of her own uncontrollable LUST. Grade 3.0. Story 2. The maid is the victim of LUST by her employer. Result meaningless. Grade 1.0. Story 4. A women has affair with her husband's friend and everyone know everything. Acting so good. Grade 3.5. Story 4. Women has nothing but LUST, in front of anywhere, in anywhere, in anytime. Laugh a lot although. Grade 2.5. Overall 5. Avoidable. 18+. Fun.

First, this is one of the bravest attempt by popular Bollywood directors, bravest because it has strong erotic content specially in the last storyThis film is a collection of 4 short stories which are all about women sexuality...First one is directed by Anurag Kashyap is the perfectly directed. Where Radhika Apte's statement is not entertaining to listen but have many thing to understand about women desires. Personally I don't admire it. Radhika Apte's acting was spectacular and not questionable! For this story I will give it 3.5/5Second one is directed by Zoha Akther, and this is the weakest story from the film. This is a one sentence story last about 25 mins. But it is not that bad actually. Zoha tried to explain this simple thing by Bhumi Pednekar's eyes. Bhumi does a great job here, She rarely spoke a word but his face revealed so much truths. And we realize it. For this story I will give it 2.5/5Third one is directed by Dibakar Banerjee, and this is the best story among all of this. How women find pleasure when they don't get it from there partner and then they confused about their friend with benefit or lover. I will give it 4/5Fourth one is directed by Karan Johar, it is the most entertaining and hottest story. A woman despite not having sex less than 5 seconds from her partner(Vicky Kaushal) decided to use a vibrator dildo for pleasure. I will give it also 4/5So all over these, all the story say about some women desires men couldn't fulfill and they lost their loves. Something like Lust and Lost love.And my personal quote is we see such films soo much in bollywood talk about women desires, I don't know why bollywood don't make films about those girls who don't like sex, because in my lifetime how many girls I have I met hasn't so interest in sex, So the last character opposite of Vicky Kaushal is very uncommon for me. After all this film will not entertain you but will show you something social. Which a film should do. It is a rarely made bollywood gem

Netflix has changed the way we watch our favorite movies and TV shows. It has also provided us with TV shows of the highest quality, namely "House of Cards," "Stranger Things," and "Narcos." However, it still has a long way to go as far as its original films go, despite the A-List movie stars and directors attached to them. When I saw the likes of Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar attached to direct segments of "Lust Stories," I was immediately interested. Despite this initial interest, however, I was very disappointed with the finished product. I wish they had just picked one story (preferably the one directed by Zoya Akhtar) and fleshed it out for a 1.5-2 hour movie, since the rest of the stories were just so boring.
