My Art:two for Hellmann http://i.imgur.com/xZTLZk4h.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/Vt9K3Yrh.jpg I want ask to producers a question, listen: If they will make a sequel of the level of previous Jaws(but the first one) and Tentacles, so JAWS 5 and Tentacles 2... WHERE YOU WILL GO immediately? I believe Jaws 5 will be a flat, little chic movies for a light evening but Tentacles 2 is a HEARTLOVING EXPERIENCE OF A COLOSSAL DRAMA!BATTLE,BATTLE AND FEELING WITH THE WAVES AND THE GOD OF OCEAN!So, any comparizon is null.. 0) Jaws 1,2,3,4 is a "RIP OFF" of Tentacles: REALTY. 1) Tentacles is not a "rip off" of nothing. It's a independent OPERA. 2) Tentacles is a Colossal. Yes: COLOSSAL. Jaws a Flat film. Not immersive film. Not human and flat. 3) Tentacles is a Drama, Jaws is "shark destroys only". 4) Jaws1234 loses vs ONE movie: Tentacles! 5) Plastic Octopus: what is the problem ? A movie is already a fiction. And if the movie is EXCELLENT with a puppet or plastic octopus:GREAT JOB! And if it was a Mech Octopus the movie will be more better! 6) Music: empathy 100%. Music battle, music for cry. Jaws: standard movie with pretty good music. Okay. A) 1977: thay have worked DEEPLY. It's an Italian-USA movie or not? Where are movies after 40 FORTY YEARS, you can see all digital graphics BUT okay the movies now are NOTHING. Hollywood is out Gold Age, it's clear. Deeply, love!! Where are NOW? B) Great Job Italy! Not only political, country social movies.... C) If you see Attack Titan (japanese true movie) you can feel what is Art and Fake. D) Tentacles express a Top One Colossal movie. And is an octopus the starring! Great Job Hollywood! E) What do you think about final battle with killer whales... it's a God moment. Where is Jaws, please, stop propaganda of Majors.... it's without honour. W L'ITALIA!

Despite starring no less than three Oscar winners (John Huston, Henry Fonda and Shelley Winters), this Italian Jaws rip-off is still an almighty crap-fest, the name players, clearly uninspired by the derivative plot, going through the motions for an easy paycheck (Fonda even stumbles over his lines a couple of times, but soldiers on regardless).Director Ovidio G. Assonitis opens his film with the mysterious death of baby Billy, followed by the equally strange demise of peg-legged boat skipper Bill, both bodies stripped to the bone and sucked dry. Unperturbed by the fact that his name is very similar to both victims, oceanographer Will (Bo Hopkins) investigates, discovering that the culprit isn't someone with a hatred of people called William (and variations of), but rather a giant octopus that has been disturbed by tunnel construction beneath the sea bed. With zero tension or scares, but lots and lots in the way of dull chit chat, this is film-making at its most ham-fisted: what should have been a fun slice of B-movie nonsense is made interminably dull thanks to a dreary script, cruddy special effects, lifeless direction from Assonitis, and clumsy editing by Angelo Curi, who completely botches the film's two big scenes—an attack on a sailboat race and the climactic fight between the octopus and a pair of killer whales. A bizarre choice of score only adds to the overall effect of sheer ineptitude.2.5 out of 10, rounded up to 3 for the film's only spot of gore, a brief shot of a mangled corpse with its eye hanging out.

In the sunny California resort community "Solana Beach", a baby disappears near the shore. This turns out to be an appetizer. More deaths occur. The bodies are being eaten by a giant octopus, who spits out the skeletal remains of its victims. Due to economic concerns, local sheriff Claude Akins and associates downplay the danger and the annual yacht race goes on as planned. Wizened newspaper reporter John Huston (as Ned Turner) becomes aware of the danger. His stout sister Shelley Winters (as Tillie) brings her young son and a friend to the shore. With his wife out of the picture, marine biologist and scuba diver Bo Hopkins (as Will Gleason) tries to eliminate the danger with his handsome friend Alan Boyd (as Mike) and some trained whales. Odd soundtrack music accompanies the action...Yes, this the plot of "Jaws" (1975) – with a giant octopus swimming in for the giant shark. Although it doesn't move or develop the story, director Ovidio Assonitis and his production team include some interesting shots and edits in early scenes. They become less flashy and more tiresome as the film progresses. The relationships between the characters is often confusing. The cast is headed up by some very dependable performers – the aforementioned are joined by "Trojan" constructor Henry Fonda as a businessman with a financial interest in the proceedings. He appears to be giving the bare basics of a Fonda performance. Mr. Hopkins, Ms. Winters and Mr. Huston can be seen "acting" on their own – each delivering dependable mannerisms and looks – in a vacuum, unfortunately.*** Tentacles (2/25/77) Ovidio Assonitis ~ Bo Hopkins, John Huston, Shelley Winters, Henry Fonda

Something strange is happening in Ocean Beach, California. First, a small child has been snatched out of its stroller and the body is later found in the ocean having been eaten to the bone. Then a man on a boat in the harbor also goes missing and his body is found in the ocean in the same condition. Just prior to that however a company owned by a man named "Mr. Whitehead" (Henry Fonda) called "Trojan Construction" has been using machinery on the ocean bottom that emits a high-pitched frequency. But that still doesn't explain what killed the baby and the man—especially since their deaths weren't in the same location. Meanwhile, more and more bodies are being found in the same condition. Anyway, this movie is perhaps the first "clone" of the extremely successful film "Jaws" (which came out in 1975) and features some notable actors which include John Huston (as the news journalist "Ned Turner"), Shelly Winters (as Ned's sister, "Tillie Turner"), Bo Hopkins ("Will Gleason") and the aforementioned Henry Fonda. Additionally, it also had a couple of attractive actresses in Delia Boccardo (as "Vicky Gleason") and Sherry Buchanan (as Vicky's sister "Judy") along with a decent storyline. Unfortunately, none of the scenes seemed to take advantage of any of this. Perhaps it was the bad camera angles, the incoherent script or the awful ending but it all seemed like a complete mess. Below average.
