This a very scary movie. It a very good prequel. It has a great story line. It also has great acting. It also has great special effects. It is very scary. It not 4.4. This is a 9. It a great horror film. It is very scary. It is better. A Nightmare on elm street. And that is not easy to do. This is better then The Shinning. It very scary. If it does not scary you know movie will. See this movie. It so scary. I got 4.4 from people who do not know a good horror movie. See this movie. It is one of the scariest movies of all time. See it. It will scary you. If you like good horror stories you will like this movie.

First of all, this movie was an extreme lazy attempt by Full moon. Many fans were so excited but let down extremely. The plot is boring, and the acting is so poor it makes you cringe. Worst of all, the puppets looks have been changed which is a major no no. For instance, Tunneler's face looks awful and leech woman is now a midget who looks like a cheap Barbie doll. The puppets don't even move nor interact as much, unlike Puppet Master 3. It looks like the film crew just grabbed the puppets and bobbed them up and down.Above all, the 2 stars is for bringing back leech woman (fan favorite) and actually making her fight for once. However, it would be nice to see more of her interacting with the other puppets and Danni.

You don't pick up a Puppet Master movie expecting a masterpiece, or some sort of groundbreaking classic. All the same, I'd been looking forward to this one for a while. The WWII setting had worked wonderfully in Puppet Master 3 (in my opinion the best installment of the series) and I was hoping lightning would strike twice with 'Axis Of Evil'.The first half is flawed, but watchable. Some dodgy acting, yes, but with these kind of movies that's almost part of the fun. The lighting is nice and moody, it's pretty well shot, even if the dialog resembles some sort of uncomfortable 40's racist propaganda movie. To the historical inaccuracy that others have mentioned - yes, it's pretty jaw-dropping that such an obvious mistake slipped in to the final cut. We're not talking about Arthurian legend or Biblical times - this is recent history, and anyone who made it through high school should be well aware of the time line of events. It makes me wonder what the scenario is that caused this glaring error. Did no one involved with the film know anything about WWII? Were they aware of the mistake and just didn't think it mattered? Did they think Puppet Master fans were too stupid to notice? Whatever...it certainly doesn't show the production in a favorable light. And yet for all these errors, I'd be willing to overlook them if there was some decent action with Blade & co. It is the fan's love for those little buggers that has sustained this franchise, and they deserve treating with respect.Well, unfortunately the (very brief) moments in which the puppets do appear are the worst parts of the movie. The movement, the execution...it's all just embarrassingly bad. Literally. When Blade 'runs' across the screen, I guarantee you will actually squirm with embarrassment. I sure did. It simply looks terrible - like a home movie a kid made of his toys moving around his bedroom. It completely kills what little tension has been built up over the preceding 80 minutes.I'm aware that this movie was probably made on a shoestring. Nevertheless, job #1 when making any Puppet Master movie should be making the puppets look (and move) great, and giving them some exciting stuff to do. Hire the cheapest actors you can find, film the movie outside your local mall, no one cares, just make the damn puppets look good.Well, they didn't and they don't. Axis of Evil is a very poor movie, and moreover, it's very poor Puppet Master.

I'm a huge fan of the Puppet Master series and have been praying for a sequel worthy of making me forget about crappy sequels such as Curse of the Puppet Master and Puppet Master: Legacy.UNFORTUNATELY, my prayers were NOT answered and was presented the antithesis of what I wanted. Why this movie SUCKED?1. God Awful acting. Yes, I know it's a B-movie and not to expect Oscar worthy performances, but this was VERY sub-par for a B-movie or a Full Moon production in general. The actress who played Ozu did one of the WORST Asian accents ever. She sounded like a constipated Bernadette Peters. The Nazi's kept falling out of a German accent into a VERY American sounding accent. Actually, I don't think they were ever speaking in a German accent. The actor who played Don was VERY annoying and I was kind of glad when the character died and became a silent puppet.2. NO Respect to History and NO Effort in Writing. The writers clearly did NOT pick up a history book. This movie is set in 1939 and yet Pearl Harbor, Nazi Death Camps, and Kamikaze pilots have already existed. These things did NOT happen until after 1941. This movie was just an excuse to spew out every anti-Japanese/German sentiment said during WWII. In addition to the poor attention to details, the movie sounded like it was written by an elementary school student.Bottom Line: Watch it online for free!
