Cassious is a hopelessly romantic college student seeking to find love and companionship with his best friend Jenesis. Jenesis is an emotionally scarred college girl who has outspokenly lost her faith in true love. Cassious is careful to not to spill his true feelings knowing her feelings regarding love and their friendship. Jenesis expresses her stern opinions of love in one of her college courses and winds up with a special assignment. Jenesis is challenged by her professor to document the opinions of at least 10 of her peers on the question "What is love?". Once she has documented her peers she is then to document her opinion after listening to her peers to see if her idea has changed. As Jenesis has done her whole life, she depends on Cassious to help her complete her learning and love. Cassious gets ribbed by his friends for following Jenesis around constantly and being her errand boy as she jumps from guy to guy and dismissed Cassious' obvious feelings... Written by Mason Younge

The Anatomy of Love is a PG-13 movie that addresses the potential and common issues of love that derive from divorce. Often children grow up with a definition of love that is derived from their home environment, and therefore their parents. The Anatomy of Love opens the dialogue between parents and children (teens) on the true meaning of love. Jenesis apprehension to love, Cassious decision to lay his heart on the line, and both their peers and parents reactions to love provokes audiences, young and mature, to reflect on the value and quality of their relationships. It causes each person to evaluate the message they are sending to their significant others, spouses, children and friends on love. This is a must see movie for anyone, who has ever been, will be, or currently is in love. A terrific date night movie!

I enjoy a good indie film when it is done correctly. I enjoy movies that feature African American characters that are not stereotyped or made to be overly comedic. Anatomy of Love is such a film. It's a good story that deals with real people in a real setting and the people just happen to be of color. I truly enjoyed this film of no name actors and unestablished filmmakers. A good college setting (brought me back in my own memory) with a good cast of actors bringing the characters to life. I believe many young people can relate to the characters in this film. It's definitely identifiable in many ways. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

A very good story line that holds your interest throughout the movie. Cassious being an compassionate person who tries hard to let Jenesis know how he feels about her. Jenesis has no immediate intention on allowing their relationship get past "Friends only with possible benefits". Cassious eventually has to put away his feelings for her and pursue other avenues for love. The actors performances allows their characters to be quite believable...... A movie to watch with the girls or that significant other. The blending of the comedy and drama was so well done with this movie it has a melodic flow to it. You will find yourself laughing and the next minute tearing up. This is definitely a movie to add to ones collection. A round of applause to the cast and crew for doing such an impeccable job with this movie.

My fiancé and I fell in love at the premiere of this movie!!!!!!!Don't think that I like this movie just because Horatio and I fell in love at the screening. We fell in love because of the screening. This story is so about us except he was the girl, so confused about love and feelings, and I was the guy who always loved him but was being stolen away. This movie is so true to life! He came to the movie with some cheap trick who had dissed him a million times but he couldn't seem to get enough of, and, really, I did the same. We really wanted to be there together but we were too stupid to see. Then, after the movie, we went out to dinner, and the tension between Horatio and I was on the matter. We saw how the couple in the movie almost let true love pass them by, and we just knew we didn't want to be like them. We didn't want to do the same. A couple of weeks later we were still talking about this movie, and how much it touched us, and that is when Horatio told me how he really felt and now, we're getting married on my birthday!!!!!!!Whoever made this movie, thank you. Thank God for you. You are cupid. Everyone if you want to see a movie about true, true love then run don't walk to see Anatomy of Love and bring someone you love.
