This movie is full of stereotypes and forces men and women to both fall into their respective gender roles as fixed by society.If a man is not comfortable with a woman trying to improve his life, then he should man up and look for a man instead of blaming someone else for his flaws.
I am a former feminist and this is a worthy film. RIP Reject Identity Politics and just enjoy the whit & comedy.
The Female Brain had a promising first hour and twenty minutes, but then movie had to do forced happy ending. In the end all the science was thrown out of the window and filmmaker just gave a message "Women are Women - OK!" It would have been more romantic if man and a woman had SIMILARITIES in their brain scan and she would react very positively to a picture of him. That would have melted my heart. Yes, I am a man and I love romantic stories - I just blow mind of the Whitney Cummings! Man can not be soft, sentimental and nurturing like ALL the women are.
Forget the science, this was billed as a comedy. Speaking as a male I often find female comedy to be very good and incisive. Was hoping there'd be some clever put downs about males and their masculinity, the bitchiness of the sisters to each other but no. It seemed like a starters manual to neurosurgery with lame attempts at comic interpretation in life. Didn't watch it all as I'd need brain surgery later.
