The Final Chapter: The Death of Xander Cage (2005)

i cannot believe this trash whoever thought this was a good idea it is definitely not Rob Cohen's idea since he was the original director of triple x 2002 that started Vin Diesel as Xander Cage a extreme sport junkie who gets recruited by Nsa agency for a deadly mission to save the world.this short film was released on directors cut DVD of xXx 2002 i have never seen the directors cut but i have the DVD of original xXx the single disc & state of the union of ice cube this was done on purpose by Sony studios or whoever to kill of one of the best character ever written in history of cinema Xander Cage.this short film that runs only for about 3 to 4 minutes tells us that Xander & a hot chick just going somewhere & suddenly the girl get kidnapped Xander thinks she is in the building he goes up & gets killed in a explosion now his head explodes but somehow the back of his neck where the 3 xxx tattoos are printed is found by a rouge agent or enemy who is seen laughing & escaping in the car.Xander is not some idiot who gets tricked by bad guys he is the person who can own & defeat James Bond,Ethan Hunt & Jason Bourne at once but what can you do this film is so dumb Xander is going out with a hooker alone in night & where the hell is he driving his car i mean it is not Bora Bora island to me it looks like London or some ghetto Chicago area.this has got to be the biggest joke ever if anyone who has seen state of the union with ice cube it is mentioned that Xander cage died in Bora Bora what a minutes so does that mean state of the union starts right sometime after the first film ends with Xander & Yelena on Bora Bora beach enjoying i don't know but why was this short film even made it is not Vin diesel himself but the stunt double.maybe this was done for a plot device but OK there is no need to show how he got killed specially in a fake short film that don't even start the stars of the film.this is a lame attempt to sell the directors cut DVD disc some marketing strategy that worked that's all let me explain a bit what happens in xXx:state of the union 2005 Nsa gets attacked they get Intel that Xander cage is dead this sets up the new story & new Triple x agent comes to the rescue it is none other then Ice Cube the man himself.triple x 2 was a nice film entertaining but it was nowhere near the original anyway what is done it can't be undone i enjoyed the ice cube film for what it was but i love Vin Diesel he is done doing fast & furious films & will begin filming for the 3rd xXx film returning as the adrenaline junkie Xander Cage well i can't wait for the film i am exited it is 2015 its been more then a decade since xxx was released i didn't saw it in the theaters i was 12 years old in 2002 even if actress Asia Argento or Director Rob Cohen won't return for the 3rd film will i highly doubt that it would happen still i am looking forward to triple x 3 for sure.anyway this short film The Final Chapter:The Death Of Xander Cage 2005 is a insult to Xander Cage he never died so forget this lame nonsensical film if you want to see this you don't have to buy the 2 disc DVD set at all this is on YouTube but if you are so desperate to check the features out then go ahead & rent or buy the directors cut my rating is 1/10.
