Mike & Valene go from hot to ice cold. John & Denise share an intimate moment. Jason's daughter Sidney doesn't want a replacement Mom. Things heat up for Paul & Kallie when they talk about sex. Jake confesses his feelings for Ami...to his sister.
Jake & Ami share a romantic evening. Denise babysits rambunctious Elijah. Kallie confronts Paul over whether he's brought her to Mississippi for the right reasons. Valene grows frustrated when it becomes clear she's not the top priority in Mike's life.
Valene meets Mikey's Mom at his birthday party and tensions flare. Kallie considers backing out of going to Mississippi to meet Paul and his kids. Denise finally meets John & Elijah & one of them has a meltdown.
Single dads Mike and Jake invite women they've only met online to move in with them and their respective children. Sparks fiy immediately for Mike and Valene while Jake and Ami suffer through an awkward first encounter.
