Beautiful Gong Shim Season 1

Taecheol's underling tries to run Shim over as she leaves work. Joonsoo sees this happen and is shocked. Meanwhile, Dantae wants to ask Shim to go to the U.S. with him but it's not so simple for him to do so.

Dantae and Joonsoo set a trap for Taecheol in order to secure evidence that he carried out the kidnapping. Meanwhile, Shim is pressured by the fact that Dantae was the heir of a conglomerate. But Dantae confesses his feelings for her, and they no longer have any obstacles in the way of their love.

Dantae discovers that it was Taecheol who kidnapped Joonpyo. He pays Taecheol a visit and gives him a stern warning. Meanwhile, Joonsoo is devastated to learn that his mother was in on the kidnapping. He decides to join forces with his uncle.

Dantae discovers that the new job Shim got was at Joonsoo's company. He doesn't like the fact that Joonsoo and Shim will always be around each other. Meanwhile, Taecheol is pleased that his plan of splitting up Dantae and Joonsoo is working. He believes that everything is going to plan.

Joonsoo returns from a business trip and is shocked by the result of Dantae's DNA test. He goes to meet with Dantae. Meanwhile, Dantae can no longer stand to see Shim suffer from her one-way attraction and asks to meet her.

Dantae spots Joonsoo continuing to act suspiciously. He loses his trust in Joonsoo and suffers from the thought of not being able to be friends like they once were. Meanwhile, Joonsoo waits for the results of Dantae's DNA test convicted that Dantae is Joonpyo. With this, he proposes something to Taecheol.

Joonsoo starts to suspect Dantae's identity. Dantae acts really distant with Joonsoo in order to hide the fact that he's Joonpyo. Meanwhile, Dantae visits Chairman Nam's house and some of his childhood memories return to him.

Joonsoo gets drunk and ends up sleeping at Dantae's place. He is shocked by a memo left by Dantae on his calendar. Meanwhile, Shim can't hide her feelings for Dantae and goes all out to try and woo her crush. At Gong Cheol's request, she goes on a trip with Dantae to paint a mural for another restaurant owner.

Joonsoo is shocked after finding out about Shim and Dantae's relationship. A strange tension grows between Dantae and Joonsoo and they start to become distant. Meanwhile, Taecheol falls for the trap laid by Dantae and revisits the arboretum which is the scene of his crime.

Dantae is working hard to find the person that left his father in a coma. But he is confused by the culprit's meticulous attack. Meanwhile, Shim enters a competition to design the character for the local octopus restaurant. She's only able to do so because Dantae encouraged her about her talent for drawing.

Dantae asks Chairman Nam for a job! He runs into Mi at the company, and she begs him to keep it secret that she is Shim's sister. Meanwhile, Shim chases after the manager that ran off with her and her co-workers' pay and somehow ends up getting help from Dantae.

Shim leaves for a horticulture center in Jeju Island. Dantae tells Chairman Nam that it'll be hard to find Joonpyo and that he's very sorry. Shim continues to see things associated with Dantae wherever she goes in Jeju Island. Meanwhile, Dantae has that recurring dream again. He discovers a new clue about Joonpyo.

Yeom Taehee requests Yeom Taecheol to watch Dantae as he is starting to search for Joonpyo. Taecheol visits Dantae's law office and discovers a shocking truth. Meanwhile, Mi joins the Star Group legal team at Daehwang and Taehee's request. She even gets invited to Joonsoo's restaurant opening.

Dantae teaches the secretaries that are talking behind Shim's back a lesson. He gives Shim a special gift since she's still upset about a misunderstanding they had. Meanwhile, Joonsoo warns his mother to leave Shim alone when she tries to fire her for no good reason.

Dantae, Shim, and Joonsoo have lunch together at the company cafeteria. Dantae gets jealous that Shim is so nice to Joonsoo. In a battle of pride, he and Joonsoo play basketball with the winner paying for coffee. All of this leaves Shim very confused.

Joonsoo is surprised by Shim acting cold towards him in the office. While waiting for the chairman, Dantae overhears a shocking conversation between her and Joonsoo. Meanwhile, Mi is about to get fired from her job for evidence manipulation.

Mi uses the information she gets from Shim to try and get closer to Joonsoo. Dantae unknowingly confesses his feelings for Shim and gets embarrassed. Shim is confused by Dantae who keeps going back and forth. Meanwhile, Chairman Nam receives Seok Joonpyo's necklace from 26 years ago, in the mail.

Shim finally gets her first full-time job! After seeing Dantae with Chairman Nam Sooncheon, Seok Daehwang gets Shim to investigate Dantae. Shim tries to get Dantae drunk to find out more about him but ends up making a fatal mistake.

Shim visits Dantae's law office to ask about suing the lady that assaulted her at the gas station. Gong Mi removes the security camera evidence from the gas station to prevent her sister from filing a case. She requests that Shim drop her case. Meanwhile, Shim ends up interviewing to become a secretary and learns that it's for Seok Joonsoo's company.

Ahn Dantae meets Gong Shim for the first time because she drops a pot from the rooftop. She sees him again around the neighborhood, seemingly bullying students and taking their money. This is a misunderstanding, and they just can't seem to avoid running into each other.
