The Rift (2016)
The satellite has vanished and the only clue is a trail leading to a small village nestled on the outskirts of forest line. As the team begins to investigate they quickly discover that something else came back from space, something not of this world. As their time runs out, the team must battle to unlock the terrifying truth behind the ill-fated mission.

This movie has the worst score I've ever heard in my entire life. It bears no resemblance to the plot and fails to evoke any emotions in the viewer other than confusion and irritation. Beyond that, Ken Foree's acting has the emotional range of plywood. Swearing and flailing are not a replacement for character development. Don't waste your time with this movie.

There have been a lot of negative ranks here. But do not go by that. I agree that the music initially was very jarring and not appropriate to the scenes, but during the latter part of the movie the music got much better. And I did like the plot line behind it; the acting was not too bad either. of course there were some loopholes such as what happened to Dr. Bryant who shot himself-did he too come back since John Smith did. Watch this... yes, you may have to bear the music for some time, but overall it is not as bad as made out here
