Punisher: War Zone (2008)

I am not joking when I tell everyone that they'll have one of the best experiences watching Punisher War Zone. I'm surprised how highly underrated this movie is due to the past failed Punisher movies which made audiences lose hope. Please.... PLEASE watch this masterpiece of a violent and bloody Marvel movie. Get a group of friends or family that can deal with the god-awful CGI blood and gore you'll be witnessing throughout this flick. This isn't even a comedy and it manages to be extremely laughable. Samurai Cop, Birdemic, The Room? They were quite the show but this broke new grounds. What I'm saying is probably subjective (in terms of what'll make you laugh) but the majority cannot lie that this is by far one of the greatest Punisher movies ever conceived. Does this do Punisher justice? That's up for you to decide!

I did say it's bad movie and my opinion change it's a good movie but not the best. I like all the Punisher movies, 04 is mostly my favorite. They're some scene that are over the top but not to much. I don't care what critics think I'm a Punisher fan so I can choose what I like and don't like. In my opinion it's tied with 89 Punisher so they're both good movies and I like them both. My rank of Punisher movie. One is The Punisher (2004), Two is The Punisher (1989), and three is Punisher War Zone (2008)Score: 8.5/10

Just saw this movie today after many years and it was awesome i loved it this film was so much better than the 2004 Thomas Jane version of The Punisher. Ray Stevenson was the perfect guy for the job and i liked Jigsaw and his crazy little brother i think everyone did a good job and the enemies were so much better than the fat annoying John Travolta from the previous one. The action and gore reminded me of Marvel's Daredevil and Jessica Jones it was bigger in action and gore than the first film and it had a better story and character development and a good use of humor. This film is nowhere near the mess critics described and the 6.0 out of 10 is pretty low for a film as good as this one and the ending was perfect which meant for a somewhat sequel which i would love to see but i guess we will never find out.

I'm not going to spend a lot of time writing a review. I'll just say this movie was under rated and is exactly how a punisher movie should have been done. Also the guy they casted for punisher was way better then the other Frank castles.Too bad it didn't make enough at the box office to help the star reprise his role as Frank castle. The minimum review though needs to be at least 10 lines. so I will just also mention that the main bad guy also was exactly how to add characters to the street level marvel hero's. I'm tired of having the main bad guy being some mafia, etc.I definitely Recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of marvel or punisher.
