Tracers starring Taylor Lautner responds to this issue by molding a parkour tale within a temperate indie budget, and using a recognizable star who is game to be his own stuntman but not expected to be a sturdy dramatic force. This sometimes-nifty action movie offers a fairly happy medium for a style of action choreography that deserves more exposure, especially given the potential proved here by competent film making.Delivering a typical plot about a New York story about Cam (Lautner), a city boy who turns to crime to pay off massive debts he has with a local parkour gang from trying to save his house before his widowed mother died, and in the process he finds a little friendship, and even some love (in Nikki, played by Marie Avgeropoulos). Director Benmayor accepts the importance of straight- faced tone to a parkour movie and aims to take these characters and situations as seriously as possible. The film is predictable but there are several great stunts and decent action for a B-movie such as this to entertain.

First of all , the parcour and the stunts in the movie were amazing , but the general plot of the movie wasn't that great, I couldn't decide whether it's a Rom-com , and action or a crime movie !! Taylor Lautener did a good job , but it seemed like th script isn't right for him , in fact for the whole crew. I wasn't satisfied with what happened at the end, but the one thing that kept bothering me from the beginning of the movie , in fact this thing is the trigger of everything that happened next , what didn't get into my mind was how did Nikki (Marie Avgeropoulos) knew the workplace of Cam ( Taylor Lautner) when the accident happened, or even his name !!!

Taylor Lautner may always be remembered as Jacob, the annoying werewolf boy from the Twilight Series. People have a hard time seeing him as anything else, but Tracers is the second action film I've seen him star in, and this kid has the perfect make up to be a huge action star. Lautner is more than just another good looking actor, as he can speak several languages, is a martial arts expert, and an avid parkourer, all skills he uses in his latest film, Tracers. Lautner plays Cam, a down on his luck bike messenger, who comes to befriend a group of parkour enthusiasts. What they do fascinates Cam and he wants to join them, but when he does, he realizes that they aren't just clowning around, they use their skills to commit crime, and once he's in, Cam has no way out. Original action films are hard to come by, as most people are satisfied with all the special effects and dead bodies. It's a genre that really doesn't call for originality, that's why when you come across a film like this, it's a breath of fresh air. The stunts and moves you see in this film are nothing short of magic, and it's star Taylor Lautner did them all himself. We are so used to seeing Lautner as the sensitive love interest in some romanticized film, that it's hard to even imagine him as an action star, but that changes 10 minutes into this film. It's the stunts, the attitude, his characters whole personality, that makes his a unique a-typical action star, and it is really something to see. On the surface, Tracers may be nothing more than another story about a group of burglars, but what they can do is extraordinary, and was really fun to watch. This film is original, fast paced, and brings to light a new action star, who isn't in his sixties or the WWE. It may not have all the bodies and explosions normally associated with this type of film, but as I said, It was a lot of fun to watch.

First of all, this is not a great movie but it is not as bad as it is told in here. The reviews are coming up from different minds and that means we don't have to like the same things but come on guys, watch the entire movie first then write your reviews.Actually, Taylor Lautner did a good job and I believe that he didn't use stunts on most parts of the film. The action scenes really excited me and I want those parts to be passed and see the next part, which is good I think, by that way director made me wondered. I believe this is a very important a movie should have.Well, guessing the end of the film easily is the disadvantage of the film I think.****SPOILER ALERT**** On the way to the end, where they were going to get diamonds, going down from the ceiling glass part could be better to show that Miller is standing Cam up.
