This is a movie I truly love as it has everything you need to see in a science fiction, sex and comedy film. I love the plot and all the science shown. This is one of the best movies from the early 80's. It truly is a magnificent Rated-R movie that I have ever seen. It's my favorite. I love the songs that go with this movie. Scott Baio is my favorite actor in this movie and I like all the things his character does and love his pranks on people. I like how Barney treats other people(mainly girls) with his power of telekinesis which he gets in a lab explosion. He used the power for personal games. Overall, I see this movie as a success and the best Sci-Fic movie that I have ever seen. It is the best movie ever made from the 80's. I believe this movie is great for all adults to see and you all will enjoy it. So go ahead and watch it.

I saw this movie for the first time today. Thought it was awful, yet I couldn't change the channel. The story kind of lags and goes no where, the acting is pretty terrible. I had to remind myself it was the 80's so it was okay. If you get really high before watching this I think you will love it. I wish I was high when I watched it. I have to have 10 lines of text to tell you how awful this movie was. On TV it blurred the boobs. The weed looked better then they had at the time. There were mice swimming in some kind of suits. Is this 10 lines? I guess not. So you want me to tell you more about this movie? Well..... It has that guy from Charl....10 lines...DOne.

This highly under-rated film of the early 80's is not only a masterpiece but a film of immense cultural significance. One that really should be studied in any film course that is on offer at tertiary institutions around the world. It not only shows good versus evil it has such grand themes as science versus nature and a meditation on the religious right that is often over looked by the more carefree viewer. These grand precepts joined with a killer soundtrack just reinforce this film as a piece of cinematic wizardry.Furthermore the cast and the special effects contribute to these points and it is imperative that when one views this motion picture these underlying themes and points are taken on board to ensure a true appreciation of possibly the greatest film ever produced.A must see!

I believe I'm one of the few people who are huge fans of this movie. It's not a great movie but it excels in it's 1980's cheesy-ness. Forget John Hughes and St. Elmo's Fire, if you are looking for the quintessential teen movie, it's Zapped. Scott Baio gets hit on the head and gets telekenisis powers, Willie Ames is with him as always, Scatman Crothers gets high and rides a bike through a field, girls shirts rip off. I have devoted my life to make sure as many people see this movie as possible. And the song they play at the prom, "Got To Believe In Magic" by David Pomeranz. It's beautiful, I've used it in video projects and a play I directed. It's a horrible movie but it's not in the so bad it's good category. It's a movie I can watch repeatedly and enjoy even though it is pretty bad. Stay away from the sequel you will only get scorned.
