Ben 10: Race Against Time (2008)

Look I have been a long time fan of Ben 10 and I actually remember watching this movie when I was about 8 and I personally think this movie was decent. The CGI effects were good and the story was decent.The acting wasn't the best either like Ben looked way too old to be 10 also why didn't gwen not use any of her magic powers in the movie?

The film: It was crap. Not much else to say that other reviewers haven't... The effects were crap. The acting was crap. The story was crap. The lack of continuity was crap.The TV Series: It was fun. Interesting villains, like Dr. Animo or Vilgax, were entertaining to watch (Animo's voice is awesome!). The aliens: Heatblast, Grey Matter, Wildmutt, Diamondhead, Cannonbolt, Fourarms, Upgrade, Ghostfreak, Way Big, Eye Guy, XLR8, Stinkfly, Ripjaws, Wildvine, Benwolf, Benmummy, Benviktor, Upchuck, & Ditto were all interesting, exciting and original, fun for the audience to watch. The animation was good, the stories were good. Okay, it could be a little bit 'kiddy' but, nonetheless, it was a fun show with fun characters, interesting ideas and a great execution make one heck of a good sci-fi animated kid's show.In comparison: The TV series was fun, with original ideas and entertaining stories, but the film was unintelligible drivel, and just plain crap.

I just started watching Ben 10, because I don't usually care to watch cartoons, especially since they seem to be getting less worth the watching anyways. But Ben 10 week started on CartoonNetwork and I couldn't help but get hooked when the cartoon came on. Because of this, I decided to give the movie a try as it was going to be on this week. I watched it last night and I'm really happy that I gave it a chance. It reminds me of the shows I used to watch when I was little and it made me feel like when I used to pretend I was on adventures with my friends. And if a movie can do that to me, it is most certainly worth watching. It brings you back to a time when you wished you could play the hero and wanted more than anything to have those sorts of adventures. But if you watch it, remember that it is a kid's movie, so don't expect a great adventure movie from it, just expect that it will keep you entertained and that it allows you to remember way back when.

Okay, I'm a little ticked off right now, so i'm going to use some objectionable language in this review.Ahem... all of the guys above me who gave Race Against Time a rating lower than a 7 are dumbasses. This was a great move, and for many reasons.The acting was great. Especially Eon, who was just a natural character to the movie. The action sequences were top-notch and well choreographed, especially for a mere 5-million-dollar budget. Only bad acting was on Haley Ramm's part, but thank God Alex Winters made Gwen a minor character here.This movie also ties into the show well, too. It has a similar explanation of the Omnitrix, the Omnitrix itself looks exactly like in the show, and the Rustbucket looked perfect, despite Eon destroying it.I can go on and on about this, but I'll stop here. RAT is a good movie. Awesome at that.10/10
