Fading of the Cries (2011)

I know there are fans of this film, but is not my case. Even when I saw FX directly from Videocopilot tutorials for AE that I could make much better than the film, there is no storyline in this movie. I found it very bored and some characters don't have any personality. I think that director/writer Brian A. Metcalf needs some lessons of how to make a sci-fi movie like a pro and not like an amateur project of college, full of shaking, bad movement displacement, bad lightning and so on.Another bad point of this movie is that a lot of explanations are missed. Come on!! Mr. Director, my imagination doesn't work as yours!. Maybe such answers are still flying in his head. Nonsense ending with guess what… BAD ACTORS TOO!!. Thomas Ian Nicholas .. American Pie times are over... so as you are… . I wish you better luck in your next film.

The pacing of this film is the most dynamic engagement of theatrical action I have seen in quite some time. One of the main questions that had come to mind when I watched this with a few friends was the origins of the naming from the characters. We were curious about any biblical terminology that could have been potentially associated with the names Jacob and Sarah. Not to mention the whole scenario of Jacob being brought back from the dead, or rather "resurrected." Then there is the concept of having a sword that hones the almighty power of good and destroys all evil that it faces.There is a complex turn in the character mythology as the dichotomy of Jacob and Mathias is revealed by one of the strongest components of the storyline, as Jacob turns evil as the movie closes, leaving a cliffhanger of what could potentially spawn a dramatic context change if they make any sequels. It was a brave choice for Jordan Matthews to take on a role where he turns evil at the end, going toe to toe with one of the masters of evil, Brad Dourif, the voice of Chucky. I was surprised to see Thomas Ian Nicholas take on a role completely separate from his work in the comedy genre as well. It reminded me of when I begin to greatly respect his work in movies like Rules Of Attraction

An Oscar should be given ... to whoever can sit through this movie.Seriously, some of the worst acting I have ever seen. I do not know how this movie could have been worse, the sound and scene editing was off and the story was 1) not backed up, 2) ruined by the distractingly bad acting, and 3) made worse by the thought of attempting to make you care about the actors.I've seen over 1300 movies, this one makes me wish I was blind. Do not even attempt to give it a chance.I'll put it plainly, if you were going to make a drinking game out of the amount of "OMG this is horrible" moments ... you would be wasted at the 20 minute mark.

It took me a few minutes to contemplate the film I just watched. But after a short while, I came to the conclusion this movie was decently entertaining. I thought the characters were kind of interesting although a little rushed. The movie starts right in with the action and slows down shortly in the middle only to really pick up at the last third of the film. I did like how there has been nothing quite like this that I've seen before.I don't think that there will be enough blood for the die-hard romero gore fans. For the Twi-hards, there isn't enough romance. Fpr the heavy film buffs and critics, the acting isn't quite there. For those into special computer effects, they aren't bad but nothing groundbreaking that I haven't seen before, although I really liked the masked guy turning into crows.So why did I give this a 7 rating? I enjoyed it because I wasn't expecting a romance or a bloody horror. I got an entertaining action fantasy which led to a satisfying ending. It was very fast and gave me a fun experience. But what really impressed me is that they were able to do so much for an independent film.I recommend you watch it and draw your own conclusions. The largest issue for some I think may be that this film crosses so many genres. So depending on what your expectations are will determine how you feel. I really didn't go in expecting much and was pleasantly entertained.
