When the American Chicken Bunker, a military themed fast food restaurant, builds its latest chain restaurant on the site of an ancient Native American burial ground, the displaced spirits take revenge on unsuspecting diners and transform them into chicken zombies! Now, it’s up to a dimwitted counter boy, his collegiate lesbian ex-girlfriend and a burqa-wearing fry cook to put an end to the foul feathered menace once and for all.

If you're into horror spoofs, this could be the movie for you. The acting does have an up side. It gets a little goofy at times, but it fits the nature of the movie. However, you'll have to put up with the disgusting parts (slime, bodily excretions from both ends of the digestive system, and blood), the sexually explicit stuff (which includes the stick of a mop taking the place of a certain guy part), and the possibility of being offended. They do take aim at quite a few groups, including homosexuals, Mexicans, Jews, Christians, and Muslims, just to name a few. Another goofy aspect of this movie are the song and dance numbers.

From the studio that brought you "Tromeo and Juliet," "The Toxic Avenger" and "Class of Nuke'Em High" comes this latest campy gross-out-fest that will send you on one crazy ride. Couple Arbie (Jason Yachanin) and Wendy (Kate Graham) enjoy their time together getting jiggy with it at the local Tromahawk Indian Burial Ground and are enjoying a final tryst before Wendy goes off to college. Wendy promises to stay true to the unambitious Arbie but as the very next cut shows, a few semesters in college has turned her into a protesting hippie liberal lesbian who marches against the opening of a fried chicken chain built over the same Indian burial ground. Out of spite, Arbie lands a job at the Chicken Bunker where strange things are occurring. Soon the whole restaurant is overrun by chicken zombies out for revenge. Oh and did I mention it's also a musical? In the tradition of Roger Corman, Lloyd Kaufman's latest is a bare-knuckle exploitation schlock-fest. With buckets of blood and low-tech special effects this film possesses a low budget spirit that only Kaufman can muster. The dialogue in this movie is very nail-on-the-head type stuff and the satire is far from subtle. With character names like Arbie, Wendy, Denny, Carl Jr. and Paco Bell, it's obvious what this movie is poking fun at. Fast food however isn't the only sacred cow getting skewered in this musical as each character also fulfills a cliché (socially or cinematically) as to poke fun at nearly everything under the sun. Rose Ghavami, who is covered in a burqa for most of the film, exaggerates her eye movements to the point of eye-popping silliness as an insulting Muslim stereotype. Caleb Emerson's Carl Jr. keeps things interesting when he's on screen as an unsanitary hillbilly and Robin Watkins effectively hams it up as Chicken Bunker's evil capital-minded proprietor General Lee Roy.For those of us with a sick sense of humor this movie is absolutely hilarious for its "so-bad-it's-good" quality. I love this film. It makes no pretensions on what it sets out to do and it really wears its heart in its sleeve. That being said, I cannot recommend this movie to ANYONE! not a soul. It's one of those movies I believe is geared towards me and me alone. Anyone interested in the single best movie involving explosive diarrhea won't be disappointed. Otherwise, go rent The Proposal or something.http://theyservepopcorninhell.blogspot.com/

I liked it. Let's get this straight. It is cheesy to say the very least but I think that made the film, after all, have you ever seen a serious film about half-zombie-half-chickens? lol The major problem I have with this film is that it tries to offend everyone - although it failed to hit us straight, white, British, it did get very annoying. I hope it doesn't offend you too, because it is a brilliant idea for a film, as I may have mentioned before. The choice of music entertained me. I have never seen a better use for "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" or Grindcore Death Metal. Yes. I am a metal fan... This film is obviously done on a tight budget and it shows throughout, but the directing, editing and camera-work is superb! Even the close-ups of the obviously fake anus didn't look out of place. Comedy films appeal to me, zombie film appeal to me and cheesy, low budget films appeal to me. If these things appeal to you, and you love some gore (constantly throughout!)then this film is deffo for you! XDThis film is so colourful too! Reds and greens everywhere. I gagged at points too!

The movie is in the same time gory, funny, stupid, musical (complete with dance routines), offensive, gross , racist and it features Ron Jeremy in a cameo. It's what you get when you build a chicken fast food on an Native American burial ground in Tromaville. You have to understand that I just had to watch it all. I knew it was sick, but I did it anyway. I rated it 3 stars because the musical scenes annoyed me, otherwise I would have rated it 2, that is: so bad it is worth watching.Truth be told, the movie had great potential for fun, I was in a continued state of disgust but with a happy smile on my face at the same time. However, the jokes almost turned into one of those Scary Movie kind and that potential was partially lost.It is not with zombie chickens, but people zombies with chicken attributes. It is not really a horror movie, but a parody. It is what you would get for crossing American Pie with Poltergeist, Scary Movie and a political movie against fast food chains. Damn effective, too. I can't imagine anyone actually eating chicken after they saw this film. You will find yourselves unconsciously ordering veal or pork and not know why :)Bottom line: could have been better, but who am I kidding? They never went for quality here. Had some good jokes amongst a lot of average to bad ones.
