Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005)

1 - The soundtrack is OK...not great just good, I used to be a big fan of 50 cent back in the days now I'm just not, still I don't think he's bad so I must say that the movie's soundtrack is OK. 2 - Terrence Howard: He's acually an actor, he knows how to give great performances wich made the movie he made after this "hustle & Flow" such a great and much better movie than this one, maybe Get Rich or Die Trying would've been a much better movie if he was the main character and not 50 cent. 3 - Adewale agbaje: knows how to play a psycho, a gangster or whatever, he is an actor, this wasn't his best role or movie but still I knows his spot, to me he and Terrence Howard were the only real gangsters in this so called "Gangster" movie.

For all the people saying this movie is awful and 1 out of 10, you clearly were blindfolded throughout the movie. No, it wasn't the greatest movie I've ever seen, but it's a representation of Curtis Jackson's life. The content in this film gives you a full representation and understanding behind the lyrics in his songs, and what they were about. Before watching this movie you can't get the full picture for what he's actually rapping about. His life story puts every other artists life story to shame. 50 Cent actually did a great job acting in my opinion. From a man in the ghetto, to a rap artist, to a actor, it's an inspiration. If you can't appreciate this movie, god help you.

GET RICH OR DIE Trying'It was alright, but nothing special i'm afraid.The film is about a drug dealer who is trying to make it big as a rapper.It stars 50 Cent as the drug dealer, Marcus. The story was not very gripping. It was OK, but it could have been a lot better. I was told before I saw this that it was a biopic about 50 Cent, but I don't think this is the case. I am sure there are similarities, but i am sure that there are some fictitious moments too.The acting was OK(ish), in fact, i thought 50 Cent is a better actor than a rapper.There was one comedy moment in the movie that made me laugh though... there is a scene where Marcus gets attacked in the shower by a knife wielding criminal and it turns out to be a fight... it is funny watching tough guys slipping and sliding all over the place while trying to kill each other. Haha!Also, i gotta say, there is a scene where Marcus gets shot that is really good. The effects were impressive in that scene and was quite gruesome.I really preferred 8 Mile... that film is a lot better than this.
