I'm like a battered wife when it comes to Cuba Gooding movies. I want to believe he can change, that he can be good in movies again. Instead, I get punched in the face for my troubles. This movie is so unbelievably boring, I kept checking my pulse instead of my watch. I didn't think it could get any worse than the howlingly bad Shadowboxer and the cringe-inducing Snow Dogs, but apparently it can and it did. Oh, did it ever... Even the awesome J.K. Simmons and a cameo from Bobby Lashley do absolutely nothing to keep your interest. The kicker is the thing isn't even a full hour and a half long and it still feels like a damn epoch has passed once it finally ends. The movie features some nonsense about Cuba Gooding's character being betrayed on a covert mission and then coming back to D.C. for some revenge on the blah blah blah if you even care about what's going on by that point you're either the director or you only see two movies a year, including this one. Cuba's Detroit Lions-like streak of choosing craptastic movies continues. At this point, I think he's actually trying to suck this bad.

Man is this a bad movie. Not even Cuba could save this one. I felt the urge of walking away from it but I kept on watching to see how this epic fail of a movie would end. And i must say, it ended like it started: crappy! And what about those cheap, laim flashbacks, can someone tell me wtf John Carter and Scott Schafe were thinking? I just can't believe a great actor like Cuba Gooding Jr. wanted to be in this movie after he read the screenplay. Did you have money problems Cuba? I can't even pretend to understand what i just watched, what's the point of this movie? War is bad? If you don't know that you're a terrorist. Stay away from this one!!! People who like this movie have absolutely no taste in movies. I wasted an hour and a half of my life watching it, and another ten minutes reviewing it. That's way more attention than it deserves, but if my review can convince just one person in NOT seeing this movie. It was all worth it!

This movie is really one of the worst movie I have ever seen lately. Really I am very sad for my time that I spent for watching this crap. If you care about the comments of other people do not watch this one. This is my first comment and I am writing this to save your time people. I do not know where to start but first of all this movie is classified Action but this is not an action movie at all. I wish I could write something nice because people made a movie and sure they wanted it to be good. But this one is totally disappointment. Very bad story, bad acting, awful action scenes.Last but not least if your time is valuable do not watch it guys.

Cuba GOODING JR, is the Shaquille O'NEAL of str8 2 video movies. He's a tremendous talent who's top heavy , and over-blown performance does nothing but slows things down your production. This movie had everything (war film, fight club)I wanted and drained the life out of it. Way overwritten way overacted. A good script, a good cast, good production, but horrible film. The flash backs or slow-and plodding along. The shoot outs are irritating, a group of bounty hunters that plod around a war-house searching for this Afghan warlord. They make more noise and shout dialog, is the "Ace of Spades" deaf? And then they keep going back to it at the worst time. Every time the film gets barely interesting let's interrupt for more boring war shuffling. Hell the UFC fight was just boring and unbelievable.
