Story starts in continuation with the old one but nothing is related to old one. It's a super duper hit movie. Even for a second you can't stop laughing and seeing Pandey Ji(Salman Khan) in action. Nice direction by Arbaaz Khan. Fevicol and Seeti songs are awesome, you feel like dancing in the cinema hall. A must watch movie for those who like entertainment, laughter and action. Full Bang for the Buck.Villain(Prakash Raj) acting is also good, looks like he is going to get best villain award.Salman Khan in full attitude SALMAN KHAN Rocks BIGGEST HIT of 2012

Dabaang was a surprise hit in 2010 and set a trend of Similar type films while the original was directed by Abhinay Kashyap, the sequel is directed by Arbaaz Khan. Reportedly in the original, Abhinay wanted to make a film like his brother Anurag Kashyap but Salman changed 95% of the film, incorporating action and cheesy dialogues. This time the film just follows the original and looks like a wannabe. The film starts off just like the original with a stunt which alternates between funny and action, and then we have the title song which is similar to the original. The film gets predictable, even the villain angle isn't too strong. Arbaaz Khan in his madien attempt at directing, tries very hard to recreate the success of the original Dabaang and hardly does something out of the world. The war of the words are interesting in some scenes but overall the impact is missing Music by Sajid Wajid retains the same style of the original and the singers too are same. Dagabaaz by Rahat and Shreya tries to recreate Mast Mast and it's okay, Fevicol Se by the same singers of Munni is also good though not as good as the original, while Pandeyji Seethi is okay. The title track lacks the style of the original and is passable Surprisingly this time Sukhwinder sings in his normal tone unlike in the original where he changed his style, Salman's however hardly moves his lips in the song. Action scenes are okay Salman Khan repeats his Chulbul act from the original and does seem to be enjoying himself but there's nothing different. Arbaaz Khan's role is limited to comedy scenes and he is okay Sonakshi does her now by famous act she has been doing since Dabaang her roles are getting similar. Prakash Raj just repeats his act from Singham and hardly gets scope to prove his talent,Also his voice his dubbed by someone elseNikiten Dheer is okay, Vinod Khanna looking frail is passable Mahie Gill is wasted. Deepak Dobriyal is superb as Genda rest are okay

when i heard the reviews i thought it'd be as they said 'a typical masala film'...but when i saw it i was confused to count it a movie or a big boring t.v. commercial ad...1)direction:- arbaaz had a chance to prove himself as a director but he completely lost it...his direction looks completely clueless...we can easily say that he was pretty scared to try anytihng new; every song has a same situation as it had in 'DABANGG'...i mean what he did was to just copy from 1st part..story of dabangg-1 was also not good but because of it's direction it became such a huge hit...2)story:- plot of the movie is that there is no plot; I mean seriously how would they carry on a movie without a story..it was a repeated story with no intensity3)screenplay:- for people out there who thinks screenplay is not important in film making, this is what happens if you don't pay attention on screenplay.i started looking at my watch right after the 10 minutes of opening credits.screenplay of this movie is so bad that you lose your interest in the story.. i can Guaranteedly say that it is the worst screenplay of 2012..it looks like a B-grade film after some time..4)performances:-well there is nothing to say about performance when you are watching a salman khan starrer movie.. but i didn't expect this much of a bad performance from 'prakash raj'...every one else did their part in making this movie awful.... i think salman is getting worst day by day in his acting5)music:- as expected all tracks were massy numbers but nothing new..same as dabangg-1,probably worst that dabangg-1...overall this movie was completely a horrible experience... 2012 year was only for small budget films...every other over hyped and big budget film disappointed..

Ever since multiplexes came into the picture (pun intended), I have missed the whistles and the catcalls, viewers getting up from their seats to dance on catchy numbers or clapping on one liners delivered by the hero. But, when a Salman Khan movie is released, you are guaranteed the audience will indulge in these antics right from the first scene. Rest assured you can definitely go in expecting to get your paisa vasool (value for money). A Salman Khan movie is not for the faint-hearted or pseudo-intellectual. You have to be passionate about the actor, love his antics and style to love his movies.Dabangg(2010) gave us a lovable super cop Chulbul Pandey and Part 2 completely banks on his popularity. Chulbul aka Robin-hood Pandey lives life on his own terms and is practically a law unto himself. He continues his fearless streak and headstrong attitude to take on the criminals of a higher stature in a bigger city. No matter what people say about the story, I believe it has been deliberately kept simple so that you can concentrate on Salman and Salman only. Chulbul Pandey carries forward his madness along with his band of, practical sometimes corrupt, side-kick cops who give amazing support to their lovable Super Cop.From the word "Go" you notice that this movie is more of hero worship, when the bad guys are totally in awe of Pandeyjee and willingly take a beating from the man with superhuman strength. You almost feel that the bad guys would rather be beaten up by the almighty Salman Khan than any other hero in the Indian Film Industry. From villains to the rest of the policemen, the street vendors to the journalist, everyone is happy to share the frame with Robin-hood Pandey. The rest of the actors albeit in a supporting role, most of them have been retained from the first part, I guess for the original flavor. Sonakshi Sinha, Vinod Khanna & Arbaaz Khan (also the producer) are basically family and add to an enhanced emotional side of Chulbul Pandey. The only other actor worth mentioning in a supporting role is the villain Prakash Raj as a corrupt, power wielding politician, who somehow failed to pose as a threat in front of the Super cop. Manoj Pahwa as the SP Police is actually the funny man in the film and gives great support to the comedy track.Music by Sajid-Wajid retains the original flavor of the first part and the song "Fevicol Se" shot with Kareena Kapoor and as expected has already become a huge hit effectively filling the gap left by "Munni Badnam". The action and stunt sequences are the fun part and generate the loudest whistles and claps.Though touted by a lot of critics as a film with weak screenplay, I would like to call it a heavy entertainer with heavy doses of action and larger than life portrayal of Salman Khan. The directors and producers have heavily banked on the star power of Salman and let him carry the movie alone on his shoulders, which has been a very intelligent move.If you are a Salman Khan fan, this movie is a must watch for you, and if you are not maybe you should watch it and finally become one.
