I am honestly surprised at the low ratings of this movie . it is a hilarious comedy and it really does not deserve such ratings . It is really funny , from the start to finish . the idea is new , the jokes are cool , may be a little on the animal side .

The movie is literal sh*t. It is so depressing that you can't forgive yourself (or in my case your roommate) for watching this. It has no actual comedy, it only tries to be funny but fails at it horribly. You are highly advised to watch this movie if you want to commit suicide but lack in your intent. The acting of Rob Schneider is perfect but the storyline has so much wrong in it that he can't make it up for that with even his best efforts. I like Rob Schneider's acting but the movie was overall pathetic and actually PAINFUL TO WATCH.The best part of the movie was when Rob Schneider pulls a boy out of the water. A movie with such a low point to be its best says it all.It also had sick attempts of 'black' jokes which did nothing more than to kill the bit of life left in you a little more. FINALLY, PLEASE do not watch this movie.

I am a fan of Rob Schneider and always find his films entertaining. Saying that I thought The Animal would be another hysterical comedy that would leave me smiling all night but it didn't really amount to that. All thought The Animal was entertaining it fell flat in many scenes and certain scenes I found just unnecessary. Schneider plays Marvin Mange an uncoordinated man who wants to follow in his fathers footsteps to become a police man however he is having some trouble doing that he can't pass the physical test and he gets no respect from his commanding officers. The story unravels and Marvin is in a car crash he awakes to have weird un human like abilities which he begins to use to his advantage. The film is just overall OK but I really didn't like the ending it was like some weird mash up that didn't make sense and wasn't really funny or had any good qualities to it. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch the film but it's an OK watch if your bored and can't find anything on Netflix.

The Animal is really just nothing special at all, Rob Schneider normally isn't known for the best work in all Hollywood, his most notable would have to be Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and his cameo work with in Happy Madison movies. The start of the movie is pretty decent, but the whole plot is extremely fictional which normally entertains, but in this case it really doesn't make you feel happy while watching it. Don't get me wrong because this movie does have it's moments that are funny and it will deliver some decent, yet small laughs. I wouldn't bother checking it out instead rent Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Big Daddy, The Hot Chick or something else that it at least better than this one.5/10
