This movie has Larry, and a pretty much unknown cast trying to get Larry going in movies. It does not really make due to a script that is not real sharp but does tip the scale in the raunchy side. Larry deserved better material and writers than he got here. The thing is during the closing credits, it does look like Larry and the cast did have some solid fun making this movie. We can only wish the audience could have had half of that. The plot is blue collar Larry being a health inspector, getting forced into taking a partner, and then getting into a series of people getting food poisoning at upscale eateries. Should we crucify Larry for not getting better jokes to work with? No, let's not shoot the messenger here. Instead let's get a big racked woman and have her face up to Larry without a real good script.

I didn't give the movie a score because I never had the chance to finish watching it. I just ran out of time this weekend. What I don't understand are the ratings and comments made with regards to this movie. What did you all expect from Larry the Cable Guy? The humour seemed right on par with all his other stuff...maybe a little bit more raunchy but it definitely was Larry.I am not saying it is a great movie, I am not saying it was a nasty movie....I am only saying it is Larry and I went into watching it knowing I would see the typical Larry stuff, and I saw typical Larry stuff!

Once in a generation, a movie will come along that will change your life. Such a movie is Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector. Based on the 15th century novella by Shakespeare entitled "Boobs Boobs Everywhere", this is the kind of timeless classic that will define our generation. Men of the last 1000 years? How about Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Ghandi, Jesus, and Larry The Cable Guy. This Larry guy is the kind of slack-jawed, fresh-faced, young upstart that will likely attract hordes of fans. He has that kind of hip-hop urban appeal that African American males will love. His smart, campy humor has become the voice of a generation. I submit that we rename December 25th "Larry The Cable Guy Day". Move over Jesus, your ass is getting kicked to the curb. What have you done for us lately? It is the age of Larry now.

How can people actually enjoy watching this clown and find any of his stupid jokes funny? He is like ten steps less intelligent and less funny than Ernest P. Worrell and that is saying a lot! His movies are predictable garbage and his whole act is nonsense, with such an over the top depiction of a southern American man and all of the jokes that stem from cheap racism. A lot of his standup comedy bits and skits are nothing but jokes about his wife or jokes about Mexicans etc that we've all heard a hundred times before. Who watches this crap? This guy is probably a millionaire and that says a lot about our society, Larry the Cable Doofus must be stopped!
