I've have just finished watching this movie and as an American Pie fan, this is a fair addition to the series. It is not quite as good as the first three in the series but I was not expecting it to be. The film is based around Matt Stifler (Steve Stifler's younger brother) Jim's dad is in this film quite often and Sherman makes a cameo appearance too as the councellor. The humour in the film feels slightly more immature than the first three with the gags/key scenes being less visual and many of the characters in the film are wasted; they are given too little to do. Matt Stifler is more a rude guy than Steve Stifler and less funny. The problem with this film is that it just focuses mainly on Matt Stifler whereas the first three American Pie's focused on more characters. There are some funny scenes but not as much as the first three films. It simply doesn't have the same magic as the first three. So don't expect this to be like the first three American Pie's cuz its not, its different

I've have just finished watching this movie and as an American Pie fan, this is a fair addition to the series. It is not quite as good as the first three in the series but I was not expecting it to be. The film is based around Matt Stifler (Steve Stifler's younger brother) so if you liked the Stifler character from the other films then this is definitely worth a watch.Jim's dad is in this film quite often and Sherman makes a cameo appearance too. The humour in the film feels slightly more immature than the first three with the gags/key scenes being less visual and many of the characters in the film are wasted; they are given too little to do.Whereas the first three films are about coming of age, this has a lesser storyline and feels like the story has been build around the gags.If you have a spare 90 mins and are a fan of fairly gross comedy, I would recommend this as a time-filler.

Tenacious young Tad Hilgenbrink (as Matt Stifler, brother of Steve) is sent to "Band Camp" for monkeying around with his school's instruments. There, he plans to take moving pictures of women undressing. Go figure. Anyway, he falls for adorable Arielle Kebbel (as Elyse), which helps him make a "mature" decision about his stiffing collection. Erstwhile Eugene Levy (as Mr. Levenstein) is around, to help weakly provide "Pie" continuity. Not even half-baked shenanigans, for this fourth serving of the "American Pie" film franchise. Ms. Kebbel and the "playmates" are very sexy. Mr. Hilgenbrink makes a noteworthy first impression, in the starring role; but, this material is just mind-bogglingly weak. Whatever. Beats unemployment.** American Pie presents Band Camp (2005) Steve Rash ~ Tad Hilgenbrink, Arielle Kebbel, Eugene Levy

No 'front' Nudity so it's appropriate for young teenagers. This movie delivers a variety of sex related humor. Most of the jokes from this movie have already been said in previous films or TV shows. (e.g.,The nutcracker). If you rent this movie it will deliver some humor but the plot and the character descriptions aren't as properly well structured as the previous American Pie. The previous American Pie was far better than this one. The acting I would rate 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. If don't like vulgar movies, this not the movie for you. The only character that surprisingly 'acted better' was Jason Earles(you probably know him from the American Emmy Award-nominated Television series,Hannah Montana.
