This movie is a story that may seem a bit difficult to understand. The plot is based on an abnormal time phenomenon in which Linda Hanson (the main character, played by Sandra Bullock) lives a week with the days out of order (Monday, then Thursday, then Tuesday, got the idea ?). If this sounds crazy, believe me, the character will seem even more lost than we are. To make matters worse, this week her husband's death happens and she spends her days trying to avoid it. I will not lie: the film seems confusing but its not so much because we will understand everything as the action takes place, but it never explains the reason and the means by time got so distorted, and that makes things a bit pointless. Sandra Bullock is very good and did what we expecting from her, but she carries the film on her own because the rest of the cast is pretty poor and gives her little support. So, what we have in the end is a film that oscillates between the supernatural and the sci-fi, with an unclear theme, a good love story and some creative drama, brightened by a single good and competent actress.

The way I see about this movie and what I can relate to me and maybe to some others who would agree. Is that many of us is real life have the curiosity to question of an event. Which is good. But sometimes to get to the right answer meaning you have to go through the darkest thing you could possibly imagined. Many of us do not realize this. I'm just sharing this based on my past experienced. At this same date today but 5 years ago maybe or even 15 years ago maybe. I literally have million question I need an answer for. But after I got the answer I'm not sure if I like the answer. I sometimes even wish that I didn't want to know a lot of information. But I did. If only my life can fall to science fiction category. I would jump right back into my previous life. The point of all this time I learned that most important thing is to have that one right question that can lead to the answer you've been waiting for.

Honestly, I don't know when the last time when a movie like this actually paid off was. They never do, even the ones that manage to satisfy my taste are loaded with plot holes and inconsistencies. I mean, if Bruce Willis was dead all the time, how come he didn't know it? Surely, he has tried to talk to other people, not only the ones he was shown talking to - how come he didn't notice they didn't see or hear him at all? Of course, 'The Sixth Sense' does manage to overcome this, being an excellent thriller. Plus, I saw it in my early teens, when such a twist was actually surprising. When I saw 'Premonition', I was thirty, and, well, 'Premonition' is not 'The Sixth Sense'. Don't get me wrong, it is not a complete failure... Or, is it? Sandra Bullock is, of course, great. She always is. The movie is visually satisfying and, as a whole, well acted. But that is it. The plot is just not there. Seriously, this thing didn't make any sense. It didn't have inner logic of its own, it was simply confusing for the sake of being confusing. At the same time, I could foresee the ending before one third of the movie had passed - because I have seen, read and heard this story a thousand times already - the story of the self fulfilling prophecy. She tries to save her husband and by doing so she ends up killing him. That is all there is, and the fact that days are jumbled up doesn't change anything. Seriously, what was that about? We were never given a proper explanation about the reasons her week was inconsequential. That was just... there. At the same time, there are some glaring mistakes that I will not waste your time with. I will only mention a life threatening event that was supposed to have happened on Tuesday did not affect Thursday in any way. My guess is that the director and the writers didn't actually know what they were doing. Then there is this "if you don't have faith you will suffer" speech from the priest, which left me scratching my head - when exactly did Sandra Bullock's character lose her faith? Faith was never even mentioned before that scene...Sorry.

Don't waste your time! In fact I think I may be overly generous with half a star. If, however, you are a film maker and are interested in how terrible a film can be with lousy cutting, flat performance, continuity errors, sloppy camera work and poor storyline - look no further this surely is the one! This story had great promise - at least I thought it did from the trailer, decent cast, a good hook to bring in audiences, yet it failed story wise. Not a lot can be done with it when the story just fell apart. The mystery and suspense of this movie was not generated in any shape or form from the story, but rather the from the confusion of what is going on.
