Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003)

This movie is actually based on the 3 people where one guy named aman who is actually a patient of cancer operating on last stage, a girl named Naina who is actually surrounded by every happiness but unable to see the truth and another guy named rohit who becomes a very important part when Aman refuses the love of naina and says actually rohit loves her very much. So this story revolves around these 3 person where Aman realizes naina to live her life fully and live each moment as if it will not come again. I like the acting of Shahrukh Khan as aman in movie very much, the sad story of him made me cry literally. hats off to him.

I noticed one reviewer referred to this film as 'subtle'. This is bizarre, as the film has about as much subtlety as a stripper doing her act at a Baptist barbecue!! There is nothing subtle about this film as the characters are all very broad, very loud and very annoying caricatures. Heck, sit-com characters have much more depth than the annoying jerks in this film. After a while, I must admit that I turned the film off--mostly because I have seen many Indian films and know that they can be good instead of clichéd and annoying--and "Kal Ho Naa Ho" is completely annoying. In fact, after the first 15 minutes or so, the movie had totally lost me. Why? Well here are a few of the characters: you have the nasty and cruel grandmother, the 'funny' fat friend as well as the sexist pig- like jerk who plays the main character's best male friend. While it's true that many Indian grandmothers favor the male child like the grandma does in this one, the lady is physically abusive and cruel to the point that you cannot understand why the Americanized Indian family didn't toss her into the streets or in front of an on- coming bus! The fat friend is kooky and LESS believable that a sit- com friend--and even kookier. No one on planet Earth has a kooky friend like this. As for the male friend, he's a nasty, sexist jerk who probably would end up in the hospital after trying out his abrasive and offensive antics on women...and he's so bad and sexist that in the States he would be killed sooner (hopefully) or later!! Did the movie get any better? I dunno...I just couldn't take any more. Somehow we are to accept that the girl who befriends these jerks is somehow special--thoughtful, kind and a living goddess?! No way...you are known by your friends. An awful movie. I know that many romantic-comedies from India have their clichés, I usually can accept this and enjoy the picture...but not this time. The clichés cross over to annoyances and who wants to be viscerally annoyed when they watch a movie?!

It is one the best Bollywood movies that i have watched. Kal Ho Na Ho (There May Or May Not Be A Tomorrow) is a story about love.The actors Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta played their roles fabulously and had good chemistry between themselves. The comic timing of Saif was good. Shahrukh is, of course, the show stealer.The theme of the movie is amazing that is Carpe Diem. People are so concerned with their future that they forget to live the present.The director, producer, singers, lyricist, story writer, dialogue writers, everybody did an excellent job.The songs are heart touching and are used well by the movie, which is of course rare to see.Watching this movie was an amazing experience and I feel happy that Indian Cinema is now evolving and becoming a legit part of the International film culture.Overall a really good movie with good actors and storyline.

It ُs my favorite film.every time that i watch movie i have a great feeling about life and the main reason to live:make some one happy,then you can be happy too.life is in every moment of love and love is in every part of life. I think the music of the movie is one of the most positive things in film and is the best music in Shahrukh Khan movies.the song"Maahe Ve"is a great song for an engagement celebrate. "Pretty woman" and "It ُs the time to disco" have a joyful rhythm."Kal Ho Naa Ho"is the best song of the film and the best Suno Nigam ُs song.The performance of all of the actors was fantastic.Saif Ali Khan has the best performance in the film and also it ُs his best performance.Preity Zinta is proper for role.She has a serious face,one of the most important things that Naina needs. Jaya Bachan is a kind mother but sometimes I don ُt like her performance. although she is good for her role.SRK is like always,charming,full of energy and has a good performance. The other actors and actresses like Delnaz Irani and the others,make "Kal Ho Naa Ho" a comedy movie.The emotional scenes like when Aman is dancing with Naina in his dream or when he is reading Rohit ُs blank notebook for her or the last scene make the movie a romantic movie.the good and real relation ship between the characters and the story about life make the movie drama.the dialogues are great and have some thing to say.some of them are really unforgettable like:"Listen,Laugh,Be happy,Maybe tomorrow never comes." The story is ُnt a new thing but it ُs lovely and amazing."Kal Ho Naa Ho" learned me some important things about life that i ُve never paid attention to them. Who Knows?Maybe tomorrow never comes.10/10.
