Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie (2012)

This was the 3rd worst movie I have ever seen in my life.I've seen a lot, a lot, and a lot in my life, and I'm always ready to swallow my pride.I just saw this movie because I mistook the title for another movie, and I've come to recognize some of the scenes from this movie that have stolen a hundred times over 100 times better movies from other hundred times. Do you know that even if you see a movie that has a string that clearly comes from a better movie that you would rather watch right now?Anyway, such movies are the reason why I hate comedies. You can beat out all the jokes from most comedies of Ben Stiller or so and there would still be a good or okay movie left over here, just a huge steaming pile of horse shit would be left behind which one in a blender with insulting stupidity and infantilism served us right at the moment where we are most hungry.I wanted to move on relatively quickly but took my courage to watch it to the end and that was a mistake because not only did I lose a piece of my humor, I think I lost a lot of power and tolerance and I have a few IQ points lost and must train pretty hard to regain the lost.

This movie was very entertaining. I give it 5 bags of popcorn and a targets. I actually watched it again right after I finished it. This isn't a movie critics movie, i wouldn't expect a snooty critic to like it. Its silly but does have a good plot. I don't understand why it did so poorly in the box office. Maybe few theatres showed it. Tim and Eric have a big following so you'd think their fans would go. I wish they would make another movie like this one.

I'm sure for the typical straight edge movie-goer, this movie falls under the "only people who are high laugh at this" film label. This assumption is usually followed by something about the style of comedy that Tim & Eric employ marginally. You see, I think of Tim & Eric as two absurdists who happen to smoke weed and ingest hallucinogenics. Granted, those fall hand in hand, that's not my point. The point is this movie is superb with it's star studded appearances and hilariously executed characters that may or may not have any purpose to the "plot" (although in this Time & Eric production, there is an actual plot I still feel the need to stress the looseness of the term). You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll find emotions not yet to be felt by man, the movie gives you a very individualized experience all based on your own mind.

I love the shorts these guys do, especially their Adult Swim jazz, but this effin' horrible. It is literally the second worst movie I have ever seen. Watching this is like having a bad trip whilst sitting in a stranger's house. It seemed like even less than a series of pointless scene strung together. I can usually find something good in films, but this left me at a loss. It's simply not funny. And it is pointless. I don't even ask a filmmaker for a plot when viewing a film, but I do need to feel like there's a point to watching it. I love bad movies, but this isn't even that. I enjoyed not one frame of this thing, and that makes me sad. I really like these guys and I LOVE the Beach House music video Eric did, but this thing made me want to leave the room. And I couldn't even do that, as I was on a plane...MaTT
