Aquaman (2006)

I remember reading something about this show being made years ago. I finally watched the pilot today. SO glad this wasn't picked up. the acting was horrible. I'm a Ving Rhames fan and the way this was directed and written even made his acting horrible. The guy who played Aquaman is one of those eh actors. Even his acting in Smallville is below par. All in all if i could rate this show with zero stars I would. The highlight of the show was that the girl who played the siren was hot. that's it. Ugh.. I want my 42 minutes of life back. There are tons of DC characters they could have chosen to become a show. Aquaman should definitely not have been on the table. So if you haven't seen this yet, don't worry, you aren't missing out on ANYTHING.

Imagine what this show could have done if it were picked up by the idiots that run the CW.I watch the pilot over and over on iTunes simply because I like to imagine that maybe one day it will take off. And Justin brought new life to the Aquaman character.Seeing him on Smallville as the Green Arrow was mildly satisfying, but not enough. I Want More. I want to see the story line evolve as it should have and get more of those 10.0+ special effects. They were excellent for a television show. Pray for a miracle that some one with more interest in bringing it to television does so. If only...

What is up with WB canceling this show it was the bomb.I liked everything about it if anyone hears if anything has changed about this show please let me know I just watched the pilot on iTunes and you should have seen all the good reviews about Aquaman. W.B. is super retarded for canceling this show. I mean is there a reason at all for canceling this show I mean the story line is so good the actors was good everything about this series was good and they just dropped it it makes no sense to me at all somebody should say something to the company about restarting this series and do something else and maybe the will listen this makes me furious but please contact me at [email protected] if anyone hears any changes about this show.

I was really impressed. Obviously the pilot had a lot of loot dumped into it, and I imagine that subsequent episodes would have to be scaled back a bit, but ultimately I really enjoyed it.I am a Smallville fan and I felt like they really nailed the 'Smallville' feel with Aquaman. There is real potential for a great show here. I honestly hope the people at the top reconsider and green light the series.Miller/Gough have developed a fantastic formula for this type of show. There is a quality to the shows that they work on that is simply missing in other productions.
