When I first watched this movie I loved it so much , I actually was watching this movie for a week repeatedly and didn't get bored for single time. The writing is amazing, Elisabeth Harnois (Natalie Anderson) and Jesse McCarteny (Keith) did a wonderful acting. This movie is one of my favorite Romantic Movie which I can watch many time but never gets bored.Last scene on the airport where Keith says I screwed you Anderson I screwed you big time and Natalie replies yes you screwed me so what me? I made love to you. That was one of the best moment of the movie.

I'm a substitute teacher and a female 13 year old student recommended I watch this movie. After watching, I am very worried that teens are emotionally moved by this movie. The main character is completely derailed from her goals, life aspirations, interests, friends with good influences... All by a boy who intentionally wants to "have fun" at her expense because he is depressed from dying from cancer and life isn't fair. He of course withholds that from her, plays mind games with her, and thus she loses perspective and falls for him. The parents, teachers, and counselor are portrayed as incompetent. She loses her virginity to this guy who immediately says to forget it happened. I would not let my daughter watch this. It normalizes the worst parts of psychopathic liars, making their relationship appear desirable and romantic! Especially disappointed by the ending where she chooses to take on the boy's interests and she completely forgets her own. She loses her identity to this psychopathic boy's. Just no.

I'm not much for romances, especially ones like this that appear to have a million clichés...and looking through the 5 or so bad reviews on this film, I kept seeing people saying that this has been done before. But it really hasn't. This movie is one for the books, man. And trust me when I say I was quite hesitant to watch Jessie McCartney act. But my Lord, this movie took my breath away. It's 100% true that when it ends, you just want to applaud it. People are so angry, claiming that this isn't a love story and that the movie tries to make out that it is. I won't say they're wrong, but they clearly were not watching the same movie I was because I did not hear the phrase "I love you" come into play a single time. And while, even so, the film does portray a sappy, teenage love story, that is absolutely not all there is to it. If all you can see is the clichés and the cheesy teenage love, then you are going to miss out on something beautiful. This movie is so touching and so wonderfully crafted. I watched it expecting nothing, and it wound up impacting me greatly. Do yourself a favor. Watch this movie. Watch it with an open mind, and you will remember it.

I simply don't remember the last time a movie made me laugh, cry, hate, pity and wonder, wonder how life works and how people perceive it.The utmost difference between people's lives cause of unfortunate incidents that can change your life completely in every single aspect. Described in a funny yet still depressing way, from picture, to soundtrack and actors everything is just about perfect. The story builds uniquely and makes your emotions alternate again and again. I would strongly recommend it to people who want to Feel. There are only few movies out there that offer as much as this one.teen actors, mature souls 10/10
