Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015)

I was not a huge fan of the first Joe Dirt, but I will admit that it had a few funny moments. I went into this one expecting the same quality of humor and a story that would keep my attention nearly two hours. What I got? Well, I'll tell you.The movie starts off with a scene that involves a bunch of lumberjacks and a scantily clad female lumberjack farting on Joe one by one, while insulting him verbally. There really wasn't anything funny about it, unless you are a teenager. I love raunchy comedies, but juvenile bodily function jokes are not amusing when it goes on for 5 minutes.The movie continues with stereotypical high school humor from there on. We are talking about "Popcorn Surprise" which is sticking ones gentiles through the bottom of a popcorn tub to testicle jokes continually.While there were a few funny moments, such as when he meets up with Buffalo Bob again the rest of the movie falls flat. The story is somewhere between generic teenage comedy and a b rated SyFy movie considering the time travel aspect.I would not recommend this movie to anyone who is not a juvenile at least in mindset. It is less than lackluster, despite the few chuckles I did have.

I loved Joe Dirt, the first movie was quirky, humorous and fun. This sequel, Joe Dirt 2 is a complete disappointment.Yes, the characters, a lot of them, return but the potential for the same type of fun that the first movie served up was completely wasted. I gave it every opportunity to save it's self, watching to the end, and as the movie progressed it only got worse. Stupid humor, no freshness to the story or characters and by the last 30 minutes it really got so lame I wanted to turn it off.I wish I had.You might enjoy this flick if you are a 13 or 14 year old boy, but for everyone else I recommend you not wast your time. Even the music, which in the first film seemed to represent a perfect feeling for the story line, was way off and didn't add anything to save this mess.

This was a bad,bad movie... Completely awful, I don't even know where to begin. I really liked the first one, the story was cool, jokes were excellent, had that Adam Sandler humor going on. But this one - nothing. Absolutely nothing. I haven't had one laugh throughout the whole movie. They've managed to put in,at least 3 minutes long,"farting in the face" scene on the very beginning of the movie. And it got even worse after that!!! Farting, nuts stuck in the toilet scene, farting,dick in the popcorn scene, farting, boobs, gay jokes, boobs, farting... Such a shame what they did with this movie. You can see that even the actors don't give a damn,they don't even try to make it better. What a nasty way to take people's money! In the end - nothing made any sense, especially why i watched it whole the way through.I just feel more stupid now!I don't recommend it, don't watch it! Better take a two hour nap or something, it will be a time better spent!

I am a big fan of the original Joe Dirt and could not wait for the sequel. I went to Crackle and watched the movie but could not sit through the lame jokes and disconnected vignettes. So I kept skipping hoping to get a chuckle. Nothing!Even the hilarious Christopher Walken looked embarrassed.Mark McGrath tried to channel Kid Rock but fell flat.Dennis Miller probably filmed his segments in one hour - was not really present in the movie.Just abysmal.Spade is funnier than this.
