Spoilers belowLizzie McGuire was the IT girl back in the early 2000s and Disney's up and coming star. The mixing of music, comedy and drama helped launch the careers of many kid stars and made Duff a house hold name.A movie was inevitable. Lizzie, Gordo, Kate, Ethan and the rest of the gang are graduating. They set off to Rome for their class trip and all are looking for love and adventure.Lizzie is mistaken for an Italian pop star and before you know it she will have to take her identity for an upcoming music awards ceremony.Paolo was acting parroting songs, when he was teamed up with Isabella who is the real talent threatens to go public, he decides to set her up.Gordo not only has to save his best friend from embarrassment, but get over his fears of telling her how he really feels. The music was wonderful and set the movie from a generic blend coming of age story into a master piece.Join the gang as they mature and go on a journey no one will ever forget.

OK so I feel the need to defend this movie a bit. When I saw it i think i was about 8 or 9 or something like that. Maybe 7. I don't know. But whatever it was I was in LOVE with Lizzie McGuire. To me she was this amazing girl who i could look up to, who was always put together well, who had 2 amazing friends, who never had any problems that didn't get resolved in 30 minutes. (I WAS A KID.) So when i heard the series was ending I was heart-broken. And then I see a preview. A MOVIE?!?!? One more chance to see my favorite real TV star in action? THANK YOU GOD! So i went and i absolutely, totally LOVES this movie. A couple of nights ago I'm flipping through channels and I happen to come across Disney channel. They're showing this movie. I decide "What the heck? I loved it years ago." And I realized something. My mom must have unending patience considering how many times i made her sit through this movie with me. I couldn't believed I ever liked this movie. Its so cheesy its scary, Lizzie looks like an idiot, that one guy everyone has a crush on (name?) looks ugly as sin, and Gordo... don't even get me started. Plus the entire time, this figure as a little girl i had LOVED is acting like a total idiot. Why did i never notice? Lizzie is such a bimbo! Christ! I mean Gordo OBVIOUSLY likes her, and the Spanish singer OBVIOUSLY is a lying bastard. And the ending? Just... wow...So I guess it all depends on your age. If your a little girl you're going to love this film, more than likely. Older person? You will either hate it or laugh your ass off at the cheesy-ness of it.I'm rating a 6 purely for my old love.

In the year 2003, I heard of this film when it went on circuit in South Africa but I never had the time to watch it! But last week, I got the chance to watch it on t.v and WOW! It brightened up my day when it was dark and gloomy outside. The film showed how much people from reserved countries such as America, South Africa and England ,etc but Americans at most are reserved and the Italians are afraid of those who are cold and reserved! Especially when Mrs.Ungermeyer meeting Paolo when he believed Liizie to be Isabella, she was very cold to him. Also what we think in our heads in a colorful way! I Liked the animated Lizzie when she thought before she acted . That was RADICAL! The sweet, light-hearted dance music which comes from Italy. That blew my mind! I loved that dance music. It made me want to get up and dance!! And , of course, the movie also showed the beautiful background of Italy and the wonders and beauty of love and romance.I love this movie to bits!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the logo at the beginning fooled me into thinking it's another "Inspector Gadget" flick. Oh, well. What can I say? "THE MESSY LIGUINE MOVIE" is a low-down theatrical version of that wonderful TV show my mom likes so much. In it, the main character graduates middle school (FINALLY!!!!!) and heads off to Rome where sooner or later, everybody thinks she's a pop star!!!!! LOL OMGThere are TONS of flaws here!!!!! I mean, this movie is NOTHING like the show itself; rather, we add TONS of OMGs there, something to P.O. the Bush-supporters (although I do like the President; I'm just joking here), more love, more trouble, etc. SOMETHING I NEVER HAD IN MY TIME!!!!!Also, the whole aviation thing was all wrong here!!!!! Living near one of the biggest airports in the world, if they were flying Lufthansa out of LAX how come the ticketing area wasn't big and green; why were there Air Canada planes at the terminal across from them when there should be American Airlines aircraft (TBIT, south side), and, does Lufthansa REALLY fly to non-German destinations from the United States????? No, they don't!!!!! LOLOkay, I'm giving this a 1/10; too much cussing, too much kissing, no story, and the questionable aviation thingy makes this a BAD flick!!!!! Guess I'll go watch a better theatrical movie based on TV like "THE GONG SHOW MOVIE" or something!!!!! LOLOL1/10 :-(
