Imagine a completely messed up family where the daughter is a prostitute who even has sex with her own father, the father himself is sexually repressed after having been severely humiliated, the son is being bullied every day and resorts to extreme violence against his mother in order to release his built up aggression, and the mother turns into a heroin addict in order to deal with the physical and emotional pain... At first glance, one can assume that there are no redeeming features about this family and absolutely no way to improve their situation. Suddenly, a strange man (obviously a metaphor for family values) comes into their lives by hitting the father with a big rock on the head and then bringing him home for dinner. The events that follow involve necrophilia, murder and other acts of violence and bizarre sexual interactions. Even though the movie is somewhat extreme, it never feels over the top to me, since the family is already so messed up that the way to fix the situation is definitely beyond counseling... And, in the end, the film turns even somewhat sentimental. I must say that this is a serious film presented in a rather simplified format, which makes it accessible to a larger audience. It delivers a message regarding the importance of family values and is definitely worth watching. Just be open minded.

Typical Japanese stupidity. Slow-moving, stilted dialogue, nonsensical, pointless, weird, annoying, and irksome. Some stranger goes to a highly dysfunctional family's house and helps bring the family back together--in a way. The way he introduces himself is by whacking the dad on the head with a rock. Why? We will never know. Dialogue is weird. Like most Japanese movies of this kind, we are forced to sit there and stare at a character while he blinks. And blinks. And goes on blinking until he mumbles some non-sequitir that has absolutely nothing to do with what was just said to him. Example. Guy says to woman, "Welcome. What do you want?" Huh? Is this the way you greet someone? After a few minutes of staring at her blink, he continues: "You should take a rest." Okay.. She sits on the bed, then he milks her breasts for what seems like ten minutes. From that point on, she randomly milks herself every chance she gets. There's no reason, no motive. She just milks herself. That's not even the half of it.Some people might like this film because it has some "sick" stuff in it, but who CARES when the entire thing is utterly and absolutely POINTLESS?Typical Japanese crap. What real people act this way? Show me a guy about to get bullied by three dudes whose instinct is to go limp like a rag doll. Who DOES this? Anger? Resistance? Sadness? SOME kind of emotion? Yes. But just going limp like a moron?Jesus, what a bunch of crap. Just like that "Ichi the Killer" that Miike did. A giggling moron killing people for no reason with comically exaggerated spurts of blood. Who can take this crapola seriously? This movie was retarded.

I can handle a disturbing movie pretty well. I watched Oldboy, Ichi the Killer, Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance, and similar movies but it never really phased me or anything. BUT this f***ed up movie will make you uncomfortable from the beginning till the moment the credits start rolling at the end. Honestly i lost all interest in this movie very quickly. The main issue that i had with this movie is that i absolutely hated every single character in this film. All of them are f***ed up beyond anything you can imagine. They have no souls they are not human therefore i felt nothing but hate towards the characters. As soon as the movie ended i immediately felt regret for watching this messed up piece of cinema.I didn't reflect on the plot, the characters, the themes or anything. All i can say is that it is really messed up and even if you claim to have a iron stomach you WILL have a hard time watching this movie. Take my word on this fellow movie watchers stay the hell away from this movie. If i could give it a negative score i would but 1 is the lowest it will let me go so 1 out of 10 it is.

It's a damn pity you can't give movies negative scores, because that's exactly what this movie deserved.Involuntarily forced to watch the film, I was first faced with the question "When does it start?" followed immediately by "When does it end?". The plot is nonexistent, and the movie is simply a copy-pasting of violent and disturbing scenes together. It might be fun to watch as a comedy while hopped up on something, but other than that, you'd have more fun and gain more from slitting your wrists and soaking yourself in a hot-tub for the hour plus that the film takes to complete.Kuso. Or crap, in Japanese.
