Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage (2014)

{Exclamation marks at every sentence) I'm watching a movie called SINBAD: THE 5TH VOYAGE, and am astounded by how it was made. They took a typical Harryhausen plot and added creature effects that parody Harryhausen's, only they are computer rather than stop action, but they have a clay like texture even. The other effects are also high class. I'd recommend you give this a look. There's no question that this is a dedicated attempt to create a Harryhausen film without Harryhausen. It's too bad he's not alive to see it. The creatures look like his, not at all like those in the remakes of his other films. Patrick Stewart narrates. It's only 78 minutes long so it moves along sprightly.30 somethings won't like it. They won't get it, because they are expecting creature effects from after 2000 not retro like this. This is where the title of my review applies. My note to the director: Keep making these films because you are truly a fantasy guy who appreciates the greats of the past.

and here i was so excited and so happy with this movie thinking that i will watch an amazing fantasy movie but all what i have watched was some Super Bad Actors who cant even act i never saw such bad acting in my whole life even porn stars act better seriously and it has the worst animation ever! that must have been made by a 5 years old amateur and the whole movie was shot in a room with bad / changing decoration! if this movie was made in the 50s it would have been much better in everything even in animation i wont tell you more it's totally your call and don't let the 6.7 rate fools you it must be the actors and their families and friends This movie suck!I'm here to give you a warning (Save yourselves)it's is a huge mess and a Massive Disaster the most stupid movie i have ever watched since Demon island in 2002

Thought I would throw in my two cents after reading all the reviews. Saw Sinbad with the folks at the theater, I glanced at the billboard ads on the 110 Fwy in LA, and decided to check it out, cause they looked very interesting.I thought the film used a vintage style of filmmaking that hasn't been seen in a while, which is kind of refreshing to say the least. After all how much CGI can a man take?? It was nice to see the creatures animated the way they were. I thought the lead actor and director Shahin Sean Solimon did a superb job bringing back a classic. I noticed some of the reviews seem to be from folks who have some kind of issue, but it is definitely not indicative of what this movie is. I would check it out for your self.I also thought rest of the cast was cool, loved the fact that there was a bizarre mix of races. All the way from the white girl crew member, to an Asian Genie? :))At the end of the day and in my humble opinion Sinbad The Fifth Voyage was two smiles up! . My mom and dad also loved it too!!

After reading all the football weird reviews on here, my mind was mixed. So I decided to check out Sinbad myself out at theaters cause of all the hype i was reading. I was of course worried to say the least. So at the theater I was not expecting to like it, just was curious. However I was pleasantly shocked and surprised when I got into it. WOW! Keep reading.My thoughts were, Sinbad the 5th voyage is a pleasant escape from modern films, it uses a combo of new VFX and traditional animation. A real reviewer would have noticed at least that part of this concept. Meaning some of the reviews seem to be, um-mm, shall we say 'not so sincere'?? lollAnyways, overall this is a great movie for young and old alike, and great experience and would recommended to anyone. 10+IF anyone has anything to say about this being a fake review you know where my mail box is.God bless and see you at the movies! :))
