The film starts out pretty good, very interesting... was fine with the shadow creatures lurking about, kids lost in the woods in a treehouse that the shadow creatures dared not to enter... I started thinking this might be a fairly decent horror-thriller! NOT!!! That ending with Mr. and Miss Rambo was just dumb.Honestly, just over half way through the film it seems the filmmakers lost their focus and didn't know which way to go with it and by the end, well they didn't know how to end it and made up something on the spot. That girl starts out all scared and timid, next thing I know she's pretending to be Miss Tough Gal, then back to timid - they didn't know how to develop her character at all!! UGH!! She became irritating and all that "baby bear" crap made me want to puke - over a guy she barely knew... just stupid. They should have stuck with the original way the film was going with the shadow creature OR left them out just had the 3 crazy kidnapping murdering guys show up instead. One has to make up their mind and be consistent to create a good film... OH and leave out the 1980s action crap - that ending sucked!3/10

I thoroughly enjoy this Indie Thriller Feature film. I was especially impressed with the start sequence, which set up the premise of the film nicely. The steady-cam shots helped to build the mood and the journey that the main characters embarks... The acting is fairly convincing for most of the film. Overall this film is Worth watching!

A teenage boy discovers the perpetrators of several brutal kidnappings in his home town. This film was co-produced by Ed Sanchez (Blair Witch Project), which is just about the only name recognition it has. And even that is a bit of a stretch outside of serious horror fans.Dave Alexander says the film has "some realistic, likable characters to root for, genuinely frightening and savage antagonists, some brutally effective kills and constant tension". Despite this glowing praise, Alexander goes on to call the movie "stupid" due in part to how it resolves its problems.Without addressing the second part, one must concur with the first part. After twenty minutes or so of rather boring, pointless exposition, we get to the heart of the film. Very tense, very well shot, and a haunting score. This is not a great film, though it has so many great elements that it will be interesting to see what those involved do next -- and it is almost worth championing this film for that reason.

This movie had nothing to do with a Treehouse other than the kids hide in it for a bit. Some girl discovers that "little bob" has disappeared! Who is "little bob"? The film fails to explain the characters and their background. Maaaaaybe the film would have had a chance if it did, but that's wishful thinking. Thought this was going to be a paranormal flick with the way it was going in the beginning and in the end became some sort of bumpkin promo for condoms.....smooooth. Negatives - Casting, acting, plot, screenplay, dialog, sound, etc. How does the only savior in the movie crash and die and so happens to have 2 awesome guns in the trunk? Why was there a kiss? Why was there no ending? Why did I spend my $1.30? Why did I watch the whole thing? Whhhhyyyyy? "I hope you burn in hell for what you did..... pat- ooey"!!!
