Cinematography: 8/10 It's a bit soft-focus, but mostly OK. Has the 4:3 aspect ratio, and the image on my streaming service is smaller than most.Sound: 5/10 Actors are well-miked, but the incidental music is obnoxious.Acting: 0/10 What acting? By and large, people show up, hit their marks, read their lines. In this case, anyway, that was not enough.Screenplay: 2/10 Warlock promises to help a loser group of males at a private school. This would have been a reasonable 20 minute short, but 80 minutes? No thanks.

The only appreciable difference between this film and its predecessor is the narration of one of the main characters. From the clumsy opening to the boy-on-boy (with girl) sex scene, this film is almost a ver batim copy of its predecessor. And again, do not be fooled by the cover; this is a homo-erotic boy flick. Take bad soft core porn and pair it with a laughable supernatural premise and shake in lots and lots of boys running around shirtless, taking off their pants to expose their tighty whities and looking at each other meaningfully, and you get Brotherhood II. As a friend said, "Sell your soul to the Devil, get ultimate power, get punched out by a b*tch".

I really enjoyed the 1st Brotherhood, and was excited to hear that there was a 2nd and 3rd. Then I watched themThe acting is poor, although some descent eye candy in the form of Holly Sampson and stacey Scowley. it would have been better if there had been osme continuity to the 3 films, I mean even the Puppet Master films had continuity to them (well Mostly) the ending was a little dull, but its a okay flick to watch if you have nothing better to do and have 90mins to pass.

Before we go any further, I must claim; `The Brotherhood II: The Young Warlock' isn't really a sequel, but a follow up from the original. If the first one tells about a male vampire attempt to find his followers among some hunky males, so the second one tells about a male witch attempt to find his followers among some hunky males! That's right, `The Brotherhood II: The Young Warlock' is barely having any plot at all. It just illustrates a bunch of males in their underwear and does some lame acting. Even there's a gorgeous girl there, but the actual eroticisms are happening among these guys, and I must admit the male actors are `act so good' in their erotic scenes.`Brotherhood II: The Young Warlock' is a so-called horror movies and the thrill is only adhere. There's no gruesome gore, cutting-edge FX, or twisted plot. The horror tensions build by it themes and some PG-13 violence. The main issue here is the guys in their underwear (!) and the homoeroticism theme it has. These aren't strange because the director, David DeCoteau is well-known for those certain rules his possess. Just check the original Brotherhood or `The Voodoo Academy', or for more back past, go watch some of the Puppet Master installment. One thing to notice here, even the film feel so sexy, there's no nudity or hardcore sex scene. Just some people do the erotic flirting. However, the product design is truly below average, but funny though, as a lame horror movie, `Brotherhood II: The Young Warlock' still manage to entertain, even in a cheesy one, as long as you don't bother with the dull plot and the homosexuality situations. Despite of those, `Brotherhood II: The Young Warlock' is still a cure for your insomniacs or boredom. 5/10
