I felt absolute disgust while watching this movie. There were so many moments where the staged skits were so outrageous, maybe even too much. Although there were plenty of funny moments I did get bored after a while. Thirty minutes of skits is enough for me. A movie is just too painful to watch. I got tired of seeing people being subjected to hearing and witnessing terrible things. You can do funny without being abusive or traumatizing people. Now I'm not a hater and I can appreciate that some people would enjoy this movie but it's not something I would recommend for the average person. I will say that Johnny Knoxville's old man makeup was flawless though and probably the best thing of the movie. After watching I left with a few laughs especially in the beauty pageant scene, but for the most part I felt sick.

I've never been a Jackass fan , but "Bad Grandpa" was genuinely hilarious. There's a narrative to the movie, but really that's just an excuse for the antics. And Knoxville is on fire here. The man deserves hug credit for never cracking up in the middle of a prank, and that takes serious skill. The vending machine, the male strip club, the "shart" scene in the restaurant - they're constantly going to unbelievable lengths, and half the fun is just seeing the peoples' reactions. I had a lot of fun with this movie, a pleasant surprise indeed.I don't know where they could take this story-wise, but count me in for a sequel.7/10
