Feed (2006)

Now, this is what I call REAL horror! As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't take tons of blood and endless butchery to horrify, it just takes the right story and the right atmosphere. This film has both, and terrifically well done, in spite of the small, indie production. The idea, besides, that what we see on screen does really happen, maybe behind the walls of your neighbor, only adds to the horror.I won't spoil anything because this movie must be enjoyed from start to finish, there is everything here: psychopathy, deep web, cannibalism, and a constant, impending sick feeling which will unnerve you for the whole duration and after the end. Don't miss it.

This movie.....WOW.Disturbing , yet strangely fascinating. That was the only way I could sum it up. While I am a fat girl, just the thought of being so morbidly obese that I am not able to move around has always been the driving force for me not to get any bigger. Watching it here, it sent chills down my spine to know that there are actual cases of feeders/gainers in society. However, I do not judge. People are grown up to make their own decisions.OK, on to the movie. A young Alex O'Loughlin is the feeder, and while I admired his physique (he was naked half of this movie), the interaction between him and Deidre was just disturbing "FEED MEEE" Unfortunately, this movie received a lower rating because: 1)Bad acting from the Aussie cop, 2)Deidre was a bit of an annoyance, and 3)I felt almost nothing for the characters. Well, maybe the cop's GF. I woulda bitch slap that man after what he did to her. It was hard to approve or disapprove this movie. Its one of those that you have to watch and judge for yourself. However, if the sight of very large women being fed with a tube down their throats disturbing, this might not be the movie for you.I love you Alex, but while this movie is watchable, is not a keeper for me.Cheers

Feed is close to, if not one of the best movies of our generation. The plot is exciting,suspenseful, and unmatched in other films. Feed shows a story of true love with fantastic camera work and acting that can only be described as first class. Alex O'Loughlin is a incredible actor in a this motion picture, how he hasn't won more awards is beyond me. 2005 should be remembered as the year of "Feed" and how a movie that got so much attention as grotesque as it was turned out magnificent . Feed will be forever be remembered as a film that broke all the rules, but by doing so created one of the best films ever made. A truly magnificent movie, one that should be watched throughout the ages.

Yes it is vile, disturbing, and all kinds of wrong but it was never dull and it kept me on the edge of my seat in its shocking value. This was like The Silence Of The Lambs on steroids and viagra and if you want to go on a diet this movie will definitely make you lose your appetite. I thought the acting was pretty strong and it moved at a rapid pace with an bizarre and unsettling story about a sick and disturbed man feeding women to death and storing their fat and a cop who discovers his psychotic antics and wants to bring him down before the next woman becomes another victim. There was a lot of graphic sex scenes in this film that it almost feels like your watching a fetish porno film and that makes it definitely not for everyone and definitely not for the squeamish, so beware. The director has some balls making a movie like this and I have to give it to the cast and crew for having some guts to be apart of it and delivering the goods for the most part. The ending had a pretty twisted twist and makes the movie all the more horrific but bold, this flick is messed up! Overall I recommend it with caution but I will never watch it again ever and it was pretty sleazy and tasteless but I've seen worse movies that were pointless. More of a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
