Shark Attack (1999)

A once prosperous African fishing village becomes the site of brutal shark attacks. After his friend, Mark DeSantis (Cordell McQueen), is killed conducting research on the attacks, biologist Steven McKray (Casper Van Dien) discovers the real story behind the sharks brutal behavior evolves around an unscrupulous investment man and not demonic possession suspected by what is left of the faithful locals.Stock footage is mixed with animaltronics exaggerating the one dimensional sharks being nothing but eating machines. True, there are some good scenes and decent action. Tension and suspense can't make things better than they really are...this is after all a B movie.Also in the cast: Chris Olley, Ernie Hudson, Bentley Mitchum, Simo Magwase, Anton Dekker, and Jenny McShane.

After receiving an incomplete E-Mail from a good friend concerning large numbers of sharks off the coast of Africa, "Steven McKray" (Casper Van Dien) travels to that area to provide assistance. However, when he gets there he is told that his friend, "Marc Desantis" (Cordell McQueen) has died in a shark attack. He also discovers that the facts related to his friend's death don't add up. This prompts him and Marc's sister, "Corine Desantis" (Jennifer McShane) to investigate the area where the supposed accident happened. They then discover certain irregularities that cannot be explained as mere coincidence and begin to suspect a human connection to the increase in shark attacks. Now rather than reveal any more of this film and risk spoiling it for those who haven't seen it I will just say that for a made-for-television movie this particular picture wasn't too bad. Naturally, considering the limitations placed on a film of this sort the viewer should probably take this into consideration to a certain extent. That said there were no scenes involving graphic language or of a sexual nature. There were, however, several good shark scenes and the plot had enough intrigue to remain interesting for the most part. Even so the movie seemed a bit mild compared to other films in this genre and because of that I have to rate it as slightly below average.

When an accidental death is given on discovery of the remains of a top scientist, within the body of a hammerhead shark, his closest friend Marine Biologist Steven McRay is not happy with the explanation and travels to investigate further, where he discovers that his friends death was not an isolated incident and that the local population have been terrorised by a rash of Shark attacks.This film starred: Casper Van Dien, Jennifer McShane & Ernie Hudson.Shark Attack is a truly disgraceful film, I can't stand low-budget films like these, they simply are terrible, it has cheap thrills and characters you simply don't care about. I don't recommend this film as it boring, cheap and stupid. */***** Disgraceful.

Being beaten around the head by an angry mob in a market in Sarayevo 9. Using the IMDb message board to waffle on about some subject no one cares about. 10. Being sent into battle during the Somme.
